"You too. I hate history. Who cares about what happened a hundred years ago?"
She grinned.
"You too. I hate history. Who cares about what happened a hundred years ago?"
She grinned.
"Haha, my thoughts exactly! Not to mention my memory's not that good," she replied, glad to find someone who was new like her and also didn't like history.
Lili held out her hand and her smile widened. "Nice to meet you. I don't usually get this kind of greeting. It's a nice change."
"Oh, uh, yeah, you too!" Iris shook her hand, offering a weak smile.
(izzyandviolins you're the teacher. We need her to get here so the lesson can start)
(Oh yeah sorry)
Eleanor had been sitting at her desk, doing some teacher stuff. When she noticed the time hit 1.05, she cleared her throat. "Okay class, today we'll be doing some icebreakers! We have some new students, so I think this is the perfect idea!"
Iris groaned. "Ugh, I hate icebreakers," she whispered quietly.
"Okay everyone get into groups of five!" she said in a bright tone.
“What’s the use of a good memory if you can’t even take tests or quizzes.” Evelyn grumbled.
"Well, I hate tests and quizzes, my memory is crap, so… can't relate," Iris laughed. "Anyways, wanna be in my group? It'll be nice to have a friendly face…"
Evelyn put in her happy face and smiled brightly. “Of course! Why wouldn’t I?” She made sure to grin from ear to ear.
Iris knew a fake smile when she saw it; she'd done the same so many times. "Evelyn. What's wrong? And don't tell me nothing, I know a fake smile when I see 'em," after a long pause, she added quietly, "…I've done the same so many times, I can't count them."
Mason groaned and lifted his head off the table. Icebreakers? Of course. Of course they'd do icebreakers today. He rather not talk to anyone but he tapped Iris on the shoulder. "Can I be in your group?" He murmured.
Jaiden stood up and walked up to a group and asked, "Can I join?"
"Oh, yeah, of course! There's no doubt about it, the more friendly faces the better," she beamed and beckoned him to stand up and come closer. Looking at Jaiden, Iris replied, "Sure!"
"Thanks." Jaiden replies.
"Alright, I want everyone to take turns saying your name, your favorite color, and a favorite song and a favorite movie or TV show," Eleanor said in a loud voice. "When you're done come over to me for the next one."
"Ugh… who wants to start?" Iris sighed.
"Fine. I'll go first to get it over with." Mason grumbled. "I'm Mason. I like black. I like musical songs or nightcore. I don't have a tv…" As soon as he was done, he lay down on the desk again.
"Fineee," Iris sighed and prepared herself for this stupid icebreaker. "I'm Iris, as you all probably know… I like white, songs, and movies," and she groaned. "Ugh, someone else's turn."
Sucorra hadn't gone up from her chair still, her head remaining down. She ignored the teachers stupid instructions on getting with a group; who would want her, anyway?
Jaiden said, "I'll go. My name is Jaiden, I don't have a favourite colour, so I'll say the rainbow. For songs, Twenty One Pilots, and Mythbusters for the TV show.
Eleanor looked around for anyone without a group. She saw one boy and told him to go join another group in the far back, and saw Sucorra. Ah yes, the classic already made a friend-group kids. "Hey, Sucorra. Why don't you join that group over there?" she beckoned over to Iris' group.
Iris looked up. "Huh? Oh hey Sucorra!"
Sucorra lifted her head up and dragged herself over to Iris' group. "Hey Iris," she greeted softly. "So… do we seriously have to do this icebreaker?"
"I don't know, I hate icebreakers," she replied and sighed again.
"Mhm" Mason agreed, still face down.
"Are we done yet" Mason groaned
Rouge shifted hoping to get with Iris and Mason
