Never made a roleplay before so here we go

It is set in an academy for magic people/animals. You can have pretty much any power/s but don't be way overpowered please for the sake of others. If you want to be the headmaster or a teacher, thats fine by me! Just tell me and I'll make a list! Feel free to make more than one character!

Go wild but have a few basic rules

  • Please don't kill characters without permission
  • Don't be overpowered
  • Keep it SFW
  • Have fun

You can join at any time but if joining after the roleplay starts, please put brackets around your comment so it doesn't interrupt the flow of the roleplay

Power: Bad luck; she's jinxed. Misfortune always seems to be happening to her. She can't really get rid of it, but she can spread bad luck to others if she wanted.
Appearance: Long dark brown hair which she usually puts in twin braids. White baseball hat and hazel eyes.
Personality: Used to blending in with the crowd, or at least trying to. Her misfortune often makes things hard for her, unable to get real friends or stay in an area too long, so she's used to temporary things. A bit awkward. Really she's just tired and wishes she didn't have to stay on guard about everything all the time, worrying her luck will mess something up.
Backstory: Originally, her power was simply luck; she could manipulate it to be bad or good. However, after an accident she couldn't summon any good luck any more and bad luck stuck to her, no matter how many times she attempted to rid herself of it. Only recently has she gotten enough control of it to spread it to certain people or objects.

Power: Shape shift. He can transform only into living beings. Bugs, animals, people, even mythical creatures. But he cannot change into inanimate objects.
Appearance: Pretty tan, lightly muscled with a pretty good six pack, jade green eyes, chocolate brown hair that is kinda messy and sticks up in random places, but in a styled way, he rarely smiles but when he does, it's always genuine, stands at 6'0. His outfit usually consists of plain short sleeve shirts or a hoodie of some dull color (black, grey, dark reds or greens) slightly skinny jeans, black converse that seem pretty worn and scratched up, and two rings, one on his left ring finger and one on his right ring finger. Those rings belonged to his parents. They were his parents wedding rings.
Personality: Storm isn't really a fighter, he would rather watch from the sidelines. He is pretty quiet and shy. He will talk to people, but if they come up to him. He will not approach someone he doesn't know. He is fairly independent always moving along by himself, but lately he has been lonely and doesn't want to admit it. His curiosity get a strong grip on him sometimes and makes him seem reckless.
Backstory: (You don't have to read this it's kinda long :P )Both his parents and little sister died when he was 9. They all died, when the ocean swallowed them. They all went on a cruise, but Storm got to stay home and hang out with his friends. A storm had reached the cruise boat and left no survivors. When the news reached him, he ran. Constantly running. Stealing from gas stations and small stores in tiny towns. He stole just what he needed. He stayed in libraries and hid until closing so that he could spend the night. But after a while…he became lonely. He finally found his way back to his hometown and made his way to the orphanage. But not long after, he was adopted. The family who adopted him already had a son. Jess. Jess and Storm would always get in trouble. For simple things. Staying up late, watching horror movies when they weren't supposed to, sneaking out to go hang out with friends. They were best buds. But, Jess moved out off to college when Storm was 15. But before Jess left, Storm and Jess got tattoos. Secretly of course, Storm was only 15 xD. Matching tattoos of all things. Right underneath their hairlines on the back of their necks; "Always with you, brother." Kids in their classes always made Storm feel bad and useless for being adopted. Jess knew that. Jess wanted to make Storm feel like he really was Jess' brother. So he made sure the word "brother" was in their tattoos.
