Storm sauntered off to Mr. Camillus' classroom. He really didn't like Mr. Camillus' class. He always got knocked out way quicker than he usually hopes. He also always wondered why the students fought each other instead of actually learning to control our powers. But even trying not to fight with any of the other students, he always ends up blacking out and not remembering most of the class. Storm was hoping today would be different. Hopefully staying conscious the whole class.
Iris ran down the hall past Jebodiah, laughing. First class of the day was power control, and she couldn't wait to make new friends. "Iris, walk please," she suddenly heard from inside the classroom. Peeking inside, she saw a teacher. Glancing down at her schedule, she asked nervously, "…Ms. Daniels?"
"Yes? You're new, right?" she asked. "And please, call me Eleanor or Ellie, Ms. Daniels is so formal," she chuckled.
"Y-yes, that's correct. And I'll keep that in mind, Ms- Eleanor."
Mason trudged towards Camillus' class. He wasn't really the best at something involving power he hadn't even developed yet
Colton pushed past the large number of students crowding up the hallways, blocking him from getting to class. He shouted a couple of commands at them to move out of the way and to stop chit-chatting among their friends and they immediately moved. He went into his class and put on his lab coat before setting up the next experiment for his next class.
Sucorra stumbled down the hallways over to her first class, power control. Attempting to avoid tripping, she walked slow, being mindful of her every step and the others in the hallway; she would hate for her misfortune to act up on her way to class.
But of course, Iris didn't have history first, power control first. She grimaced. She still didn't know what her power was. But, she'd get to make new friends, and her mood brightened. Sprinting down the hall she almost landed next to the classroom, but on her way there, she accidentally bumped into another student. "Ack, I'm sorry," she said quickly.
Mason yelped as Iris slammed into him. "Ah that's OK" he said, rubbing his head. "Are you new?"
"Haha, yeah? I was really hoping to make new friends, I had to leave all my old ones behind. Again, I'm really really sorry about that…" She added, noticing Mason rubbing his head.
"No no! It's fine, really!" He chuckled nervously. "New friends huh? Maybe, um, maybe we could be friends?"
"You idiots get to class!" Jebodiah shouted, walking out into the hall. "I have to sweep."
"I'm sorry Mr Francis!" Mason said before running into the doorframe and then into the classroom
Somehow, Sucorra made it to the classroom without no accidents happening. Sitting in a seat, she waited for the other students to arrive.
Camillus sat on the teachers desk. He had heard he'd have a new student and he enjoyed pretending to be a regular cat to scare them. He watched the students file in, and thought about whether he should sleep through the lesson or actually join in. It could be interesting
Storm weaved through the sea of students. But then he rammed into a group of kids who were chatting with each other. "Hey! Watch it!" one kid yelled at Storm but then quickly went back to talking with his friends. "Um…excuse me." No one turned. Storm sighed, Oh this is useless! He instantly transformed into a dragonfly, buzzing above all the students. He made a sharp corner and entered power control classroom. He landed on his seat, then transformed back into his human form. He opened up the textbook he received at the beginning of the year (that the class practically never used) and began to read, minding his own business.
"No no! It's fine, really!" He chuckled nervously. "New friends huh? Maybe, um, maybe we could be friends?"
Iris smiled weakly. "Yeah, sure, that sounds great!"
Mason gave her a huge grin as he backed into his chair. And then whipped around to stare at the cat sitting in the teacher's desk.
Turning to see what Mason was looking at, Iris saw the cat. "Oh, a cat! How cute… what's a cat doing inside this school?" and she reached a hand out to pet the cat.
{bad idea iris… i know more than you do XD}
"Do you mind?!" The cat snapped. Ropes whipped out from a coil next to the desk and pulled her hands to her side. "First Rule: No touching!"
Iris jumped back what seemed like a foot to her. "A-a talking cat? Am I dreaming?" she asked aloud. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't know… are you the teacher?"
The cat snorted. "Of course, who did you think I was?" He gave a small smile "Sit down Miss- Miss-?"
"A cat?" Iris smiled weakly. "Iris," she finished for the teacher and took a seat next to Mason.
"Yes, I am. Indeed a cat Miss Iris, your observation is incredible" He said, straight-faced. "Now as a special… uh…. thing to you all and the new student, I will attempt to stay awake all lesson."
He started pacing on the desk. "Today you will get into pairs and discuss your powers."
"Oh… okay then Mr… Camillus?" Iris responded sheepishly. She looked down at her schedule to find the only name that wasn't already circled, the circles meant she'd already met that teacher.
"Oh… alright then Mist- Camillus," Iris made a mental note in her head about the naming preferences.
