Rouge liked to multitask so she enchanted a notebook and pen to write down notes while she did class work

"So first you need some herbs than you add a slight bit of ginger." Lily says while demonstrating. "After you add the ginger, you need to add a pinch of glowstone dust." (Sorry I can't think of a final ingredient.) "If you want to make the potion cure larger wounds, add some moss. One last thing, the potion of healing can be made into a potion of poison. The way that happens is when you add too much glowstone dust. But don't worry, I will be walking around the room as every group is brewing." Lily then walked to her desk and puts some brewing stands on a cart. She pushed the cart around and puts one stand on each table. Finally, she says, "Find a partner and get to a stand."

Silas let out a long drawling sigh, slapping his notebook cover back, and throwing it into his bag. "This is so stupid." He thought to himself walking over to a group of students. Maybe he could find a friend that understood him, someone who wasn't a goody-two-shoes school lover, but what were the chances of that?

Rouge walked up to a kid that she thought was called Silas "Hey wanna be partners?" she had hoped he'd say yes but she didn't know

Silas looked up, and turned trying to find the owner of that sweet voice. He landed his eyes on a girl, he half smiled and gave a short chuckle. "Lovely, Just what I didn't ask for." He sighed. "Sure why not, I'm Silas, and you are?"

"Rouge. I could tell that first shot was sarcasm I mean I have two older siblings so I should know what it is" Rouge simply smiled and shrugged it off "but anyway we should get to work otherwise we might get this potion wrong"

Silas laughed. "Yeah, we don't want to poison our teacher. Not on the first day at least. I'm Silas by the way." He gave an actual smile holding out his hand for her to shake.

Rouge smiled shook his hand and chuckled "I believe you have told me this Silas" after she let go of his hand rouge grabbed a vial of water "we need to start with water then build the potion"

Silas mentally face palmed. "Shoot! Why am I so awkward…" he gave an awkward smile and nodded grabbing a cauldron.

hiro mapped the project. she worked better on her own. hiro tried not to look alone.

Rouge chuckled as she poured in the water and added the ginger "Hey we all slip up in one way or another" after she had finished with the ginger she looked at Silas "Do you want to add the glowstone powder or the moss?"

hiro added the glowstone. she watched the teacher walk by.

hiro's pointed ears twitched as she sensed silas's feelings. she smilled and went back to work.

Silas tried covering the blush blush with his curls. He gestured to the powder, picking it up with delicate fingers tossing it into the pot. He looked at Rouge and awkwardly smiled. "What is wrong with me? She's just a classmate…" he thought, but slowly decided he didn't just want to be classmates…but for now just friends.

Rouge could feel a small tug of her heart and the slight warmth of blush on her face but she had to focus on the adding the moss to the potion "Done and it is not going to poison anyone"

Silas smiled softly and stretched his fist toward her in a fistbum manner, looking into her eyes. "Good thing, my mom would kill me if I poisoned a teacher." He laughed, his wings shuddering.

Rouge went with the fist bump smiling "yeah so would my sisters" laughter flowed from her as she waved down the teacher to show her the finished potion

hiro waited for loki to get down with the teacher and waved her down.
