The group stopped next to the door, leaning up against the wall and nodding to them, before double checking he was cocked and nodding to Alaria he was going to check it out. Pushing against the door, slowly, before smelling an individual and stopping. But there was just one. He'd quickly shove the door open and grab whomever it was in a headlock and cover their mouth. He didn't know if this person was just a civilian.
"Quick-" He'd call to the group.
Andromeda's eyes widened in fear. She attempted to scream, but her mouth was covered by someone's hands. She struggled to break free, with no success. She mumbled something similar to "Don't hurt me!", but it was unclear.
"Easy Jay, easy. She's just a civvie." Alaria gestured to the door, addressing the civilian, "I have snipers outside. If you go outside, you can't tell anyone we were here. If you do, you're dead. Otherwise, stay here and keep quiet."
Alaria motioned for Jay to let her go.
Lucia quickly stepped into the doorway, looking around the room. "Is there anyone else around?" she asked Jay, marginally lowering her gun.
She nods, to show that she understands their request. "Can I ask what you're doing here?" She asks. "I thought that this was just a company."
Jay dropped his hands from the girl, brushing her off, "I was just being cautious." he rejoined her side and nodded to her. "It'd be a good idea to leave, in my humble opinion." he kept an eye on their surroundings.
"No." She says firmly. "I came here to know who my dad is. And that is what I'm going to find out."
Alaria cursed silently. She wasn't exactly pleased to drag a civilian around, "You wanna get yourself killed, fine by me. Don't say we didn't warn you."
She readied her snub, motioning for Jay to follow as she took the lead.
Andromeda searches the lobby-or whatever this was- for a make do weapon. She spots a coat rack, she sprints over to it, breaks off the legs and hooks. She is left with a long stick. "Little do you know, that I can defend myself. And, I believe these people wouldn't harm me since one of them is my father." She said matter-of-factly. "At least, that's what I was told."
Lucia narrowed her eyes as Alaria signalled to Jay to follow. She hesitated whether to follow the two. She debated, but followed them through to a corridor. She heard the civilian padding along behind her. "Try and stay quiet, civvie." she muttered.
Jay growled to himself. He didn't know who this person was, but it was frustrating to have a new member to worry about when they were already so at risk, there was so much they didn't know about the situation. He led them with Alaria, taking she knew the route, and stayed alert for more people.
(I don't think anyone would shoot un-necessarily)
(no one in the group will shoot unless they're being shot at. Also, try to let the respective users control their own characters)
(You can tweak and repost, just try not to control anyone else's characters. You're fine, don't worry about it.)
They came upon a guard, he readied his gun as he saw the group. Andromeda went into a stance to defend herself. He lowered his gun when he saw her. He gave her some sort of a salute. She looked confused. "Wh-who are you? A-are you my father?" (fixed)
(does anyone know how to add a collaborator?)
(Universe>settings>collaborators>enter email address of collaborator)
(oh thank you so much I've been trying to figure it out for so long)
(Waiting for others to reply, also gotta go to bed now. Seeya)
Alaria didn't hesitate.
Strangely, the guy didn't shoot. Jay and the civvie had turned the corner first, and at first Alaria thought his gun was raised. But he was saluting. Or, giving the civvie some gesture of respect, anyhow.
None of that mattered to Alaria.
Right off the bat, Alaria shot two rounds, one in each of his knees. He didn't fall until the second one blew out. She had been running as she did this, and she put her hand over his mouth and slammed him to the ground, preventing him from screaming while keeping him on his ass. She lined up her rifle to his head with her free hand, and then the world caught up to her. The civvie's words made themselves clear in Alaria's mind.
A-Are you my father?
