Does anyone want to join an rp?
sure!! What's it about?
I don't mind the genre, fantasy is easier with rps I find though
okay
my character is Patagonia, a human/fox (furry basically) hybrid with icy blue eyes and the ability to read minds. She wears combat boots, black leggings, and a My Chemical Romance shirt.
Setting could be a tiny cafe on a saturday morning
Perfect!
I'm 15 yo Lucia
A lot of frizzy dark blond hair, neon green eyes and a faceful of freckles.
Wearing an Imagine Dragons sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, and white DocMartens. She's telekinetic and pyrokinetic, she sometimes randomly blurts out song quotes
Lucia sat, dejectedly refreshing her messages in hopes a new one would appear.
She had been stood up. For the third time. By the same person. What a way to spend a Saturday morning. Her coffee came and she eagerly took a big gulp.
Lucia let out a high-pitched yelp as the scalding liquid burnt her throat.
Patagonia flinched at the sound and turned to the table where it had come from. "Are you alright?"
Lucia jumped and twisted around to identify the voice. A girl with startling icy blue eyes was looking at her.
"Yeah, thanks. Hot drink." she assured. To her dismay, her voice sounded weak.
Patagonia watched her silently, eyes filled with sympathy. She reminded her of herself years ago, just prettier. She'd given up on love, and for good reason. "Ah." With that, she diverted her gaze back to her sketchbook.
Lucia smiled as the stranger back around. She followed the person's gaze to what they were doing, and she saw it was a sketchbook. On the sketchbook, she saw an incredible drawing. She was about to compliment the stranger when a huge crash sounded at the counter.
Her gaze snapped upwards, and she gasped.
"C'mon, stupid eraser, just do your dang job…" Patagonia muttered under her breath, willing the electric eraser to turn on. "You were just working a few seconds ago-"
Crash!! :P
The eraser turned on abruptly and, following her jerky hand motions as she turned to see what had happened this time, completely messed up the face of Pete Wentz. Left with no time to fret, Patagonia stood up and raced over to the site of the sound. "What happened?" (What happened?)
(Fall Out Boy XD)
Lucia stood and cautiously walked over to the fallen tray. The waiter who had been carrying it stood bent over, silent and still. Lucia put a hand on his shoulder. "Sir?" she asked quietly.
(not really sure where I'm going with this but I think we can make something out of it)
(mmm yus)
Patagonia bent down and picked up the tray, hand/paw (?) shaking. "Hey, what is this?" The thing was a disclike object, with a tiny screen displaying the date 03/18/2021.
)(Mind if I hop in, a little late but this is already interesting.
(?)
(sure!)
(My character is Alaria Echo, aged 26, a retired commander of an army for hire. she still walks around in armor, much to the dismay of the public. she is sitting, enjoying a cup of coffee when the crash sound happens. she is observing the scene at a distance, sitting in a booth with her hand on her gun instinctively)
(ignore retired. found it's way in. she is on leave).
"Well, the date is in a couple years… I guess maybe it could be a vessel…" Lucia took it and turned it around in her hand. There was a small charging hole on it. She pointed. "It's electrically powered."
@ShadowMisfit you can come in at any time
"That looks like a Samsung charger… Hold on, let me get my phone." This whole situation was giving Patagonia anxiety, but she knew better than to show emotion in public.
"It's electrically powered."
At this Alaria brushed her hair out her eyes and got up from her seat. Striding over to the scene, she went to the neon eyed girl and reached for the disc.
"May I?"
The girl hesitated.
Trust me, girl.
Lucia nodded as the girl walked to get her charger. She looked more closely at the date: it looked like it had been engraved, and though it was a very precise and professional job, it had been put there by hand. She looked at the waiter again, who still hadn't moved. She circled him and noticed a sharp something sticking out of his front pocket.
She gingerly slid it out and examined the edge. It was indeed blunted.
Just as she was about to point this out, a woman walked up to her.
"May I?" she said calmly. She hesitated, not knowing this person at all.
The woman fixed her with a heavy stare. Lucia caved, and handed it over while speaking:
"The waiter engraved a date on it. I think it might be some sort of vessel."
