Jay nodded to Alaria. He wasn't a stranger to this happening. He assumed position in the front, listening to Lucia as she gave the rest of the group a direction to go. He nodded. "So.. The courtyard, I wonder if that will be completely open territory or if we'll be able to find cover." She looked to what the rest of them were wearing, wondering if they could pass off as workers at the building. He decided he'd probably be the sore thumb; though he still wore his button-up and tie, his face tattoos and the brightly colored hair would be a red flag.
Lucia closed off her phone and headed to Jay and Alaria. "So what's the plan?"
"Same plan. You all find Stephen, take him out. I need to get this guy back to the humvee. I'll catch up as soon as I can."
She turned to go outside, the man unconcious slung over her shoulder.
Lucia nodded and turned to Jay. "Let's just get going. The sooner this is all over, the better." She walked back over to Kim and Andromeda. "OK, guys. Same plan: get to Stephen. Do not shoot unless shot." She cocked her gun.
"Again I ask what the traffic is like in the courtyard.. I don't have the info guys." he insisted, asking again. "It's more important to me no one dies than us killing this man." he checked around the corners a couple times. "If we don't know, we're going to split and skirt the area, meeting back up on the other side. I don't want us all trapped together."
(sorry)
"There's a handful of guards patrolling the hallways lining the yard, and a small group of guards stationed at each entrance," Lucia recalled. "There's not much cover unless we stick to the edges.
(No, you're cool!)
Jay nodded to Lucia. "Alright then. Kim and Lucia can flank a side, while this chick and I flank the other. That will even us out and ensure that if two of us get caught, the other two will have time to react. Let's get this going; stay low." he looked at them seriously. "And stay safe. I don't know any of you, but I still would rather you not get hurt." He looked to each side to scope what areas Lucia had told him about. "We should be able to push past the hallways carefully. We might have to deal with the guards at the entrance."
"Understood," Lucia nodded. She looked to Kim and Jay. "Whenever you guys are ready," she said quietly.
(Anyone else around? I know that Misfit's charrie is away but Andromeda?)
Jay nodded back, ensuring that both of the guns he carried were in condition one, pulling the new girl closer to him, reminding her to stay as close as reasonably possible. He took to the right, skirting the wall after the coast seemed clear enough, trying to keep a level head. The real challenge was just starting.
Lucia stuck to the left wall, holding up her handgun. Kim was right behind her. She nodded at him and looked back to the courtyard. They started advancing, sticking to the wall, constantly scanning for guards.
