Andromeda looked shocked, "W-why did you do that?" She looked sad and almost angry.

Lucia jumped at Alaria's shots. She stared as the guard fell to the ground and Alaria kept him silent. "This is your father?" she asked.
"I-i don't know." She looks as if she is about to cry. "There was only one way to find out.. and you shot it."
"Because I don't fancy getting caught, Dalin'" Alaria hissed, "What the hell do you mean, is this guy your father? You came this way for a friggin' security guard?"
(He's still alive… Just in indescribable pain. We can exfil him if need be.)
"One of these people are my father, he lowered his weapon, yet you still shot him." The guard mumbles something.. "Wait take your had off of his mouth… please."
(hand*)
Alaria eyed the civvie suspiciously, "And why in hell should I do that? We're here to kill Stephen, who is a murderer, a human trafficker, and a piss poor excuse for a human being. Not to chat with a dying rent-a-cop!"
Alaria nearly drew her gun on the civvie there, but managed to maintain her composure. She hated distractions, and that's exactly what this was. But she forced herself to keep calm.
"Because, he'll listen to me. And he was saying something, and might even help you guys."
"Alaria, what are you doing?" Jay hissed, now next to the woman, "I thought we were going by 'don't shoot unless you're shot at'..!" He narrowed his eyes at her. "If you want them taken out, there's other ways to do it, hunnie." Jay had thought about pulling the guy down with some gun metal to his head, but not bullets to the knees. "We need to move him."
Alaria was on the end of her string. But the civvie did bring up a good point. And a terrible point, at the same time. Still…
"Lucia, take the civvie, keep this guy from bleeding out. Kim, Jay, and I will cover your corners. You have 3 minutes to give me a good reason not to shoot him. Hop to."
She put herself in position to watch the side entrance, and set a timer on her watch.
Jay posted himself on the opposite side, after an unimpressed face at the group. He leaned against a doorway opposite them, looking down the barrel of his pistol and waiting until they could move on.
Andromeda kneels down beside the guard. "Who are you?"
"Garret's my name."
"Are you my father, Garret?"
"No, ma'am."
"Who is my father?"
"His name… is Stephen."
Andromeda's eyes open wide. "The murderer, a human trafficker, and a piss poor excuse for a human being, Stephen?"
The guard nods and winces in pain. "Here is all my intel, take him down."
"Why are you helping me?"
"Stephen killed my wife and children, and forced me to work for him."
Andromeda's heart sinks, she whispers, "I'm so sorry…"
Alaria glanced at her watch.
2 minutes 30 seconds
"Come back in… I've got intel."
"Like hell you do…" Alaria started, then saw the man holding a flash drive in his fingers. She sighed, "…ok, maybe you do. Hand it here." She extended an open palm, wanting to verify the intel first. She noted with satisfaction that Kim was already pulling out a laptop from his bag.
(@Oakie Dokie, don't forget that when you want, you can take Kim's reins.)
(sorry gtg)
(We'll pick up tomorrow. See ya then)
(What happened here?)
(Dunno…)
Lucia took the laptop from Kim and brought it over to Alaria. She held it up for Alaria to plug in the flash drive.
Alaria plugged in the flash drive and downloaded the files. The laptop flashed an encryption warning, which Alaria bypassed with a separate flash drive from Kim. She opened the files, which revealed a map of the building, as well as a list of contacts. The map she relayed to her team's phones and tac equipment. The contacts she kept on the laptop.
"Alright, so we aren't flying blind anymore. This guy needs a hand back to the jeep, we'll get an evac to the nearest hospital, he'll live. I'll take him. Jay." Alaria narrowed her eyes, "You get to be in charge till I get back." Alaria turned towards the man as the rest of the team fanned out. She motioned for Jay while she hefted up the guard.
Lucia opened up the map on her phone and studied it. She found the area they were in at the moment and searched for the main area where she assumed Stephen would be. It wasn't hard to find.
"So, to get to the main area we'll have to cross some sort of courtyard. It's through this hallway." she pointed to the left.
(I'm not letting this one die guys XP)
(I'm here, apologies)
