Lucia immediately recognized the creature running down the street.
"It's a WhipStrike." she muttered, voice trembling.

(good)
"It's Whipstrike, no time to explain…" Patagonia ripped the disc from the charger and, making sure her newfound friends were following her, smashed a back window with her backpack and ran out into the early morning sunshine. "He knows what car I drive, anyone got any ideas on how to get out of here?"
"If I can tap in to one of your energies, I can float us away on something." Lucia sais. She looked around and immediately spotted a large, curved wood plank.
(I'll be off for a few hours. Just drag Alaria around for a bit. Sorry)
Patagonia nodded confusedly, not knowing what the heck she was talking about but knowing she'd seen enough to know sometimes it was best to just go along with things. Lungs heaving from her moment of mary-sueness, she reached into her pocket and took a puff of her inhaler.
Lucia grabbed Patagonia by the arm and all three of them ran to the plank of wood. She sat cross-legged on it and took hold of one of Patagonia's hands, registering the other girl's confusion. But she couldn't think about that now, and she emptied her mind. She let mind wander and guided it into the plank beneath them. With one heave of effort, the plank took off from the ground. She was already drained, but Patagonia's strength seeped into her. She lifted the wood plank, out of Whipstrike's reach, and deposited them onto a rooftop.
"ohymygodwhatwasthatdidwejustflyamiabirdnowholycrap" Patagonia shrieked, hyperventilating.
Lucia smiled weakly before her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she collapsed.
"Oh my God…" Patagonia moaned, catching her body and positioning it in a prone position on the tin roof. "Umm…" Trying to think rationally, she pulled a bottle of SmartWater from her bag and took a long swing. Wait… Water. She poured the rest on Lucia's face. "Sorry, sorry, sorry…"
The water that landed on Lucia's face evaporated when it came into contact with her skin, and she up.
"Wasshappind?" she blurted out.
"Y-you passed out after magic-y stuff doing flying us to the roof? I think."
"Oh, right. Didn't I mention I'm telekinetic and pyrokinetic? Sorry. Thought I'd said it." Lucia looked down, and whistled. "I managed to get us that far, huh?" she murmured, proud.
"Uh-huh…" Patagonia resigned, stiff with shock.
(I'm sorry that took me so long. Finally back.)
From above, the girls heard two gunshots ring out, then an upheaval of effort as Alaria began climbing the pipes and bricks of the wall, attempting to escape. When she finally manages to reach the top, there is a gash on her leg, and she through gritted teeth she mutters, "Nice trick. Does it work for bleeding too?"
Alaria smiles weakly and sets to work pulling bandages of a pocket in her armor.
"Well, I guess it could cauterize a wound, but not one as shallow as this." Lucia told Alaria. She turned to Patagonia.
"You OK? You seem a bit pale…"
(sorry I was gone I was asleep)
(Same here)
(me three :P) "Uhh… I'll be alright."
Lucia shrugged. She turned to Alaria.
"I have a couple questions about some things I noticed. First of all, how did you climb up so fast?! Second, WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN?"
"Why not? We're in the city," Patagonia replied cooly, pulling a small handgun from her bag. "Who knows what kind of dumbarse is gonna try to hook up with you?"
Alaria smiled at Patagonia, "Girl's smart. I have my own reasons though. I command a little army for hire, I guess you could say. So that climbing is all training. The gun is standard issue."
Alaria looked Patagonia up and down. Despite being timid, she knew how to handle herself when she needed to. If things went south, that would be handy.
Then Lucia. The girl was telekinetic, that much was for sure, and she claimed she was pyrokinetic, but what else?
I might not wanna think too much. Not until I'm sure, anyhow.
Alaria finished up her bandages and turned to look over the edge.
"So," She started, "where do we go from here?"
"My mom's at work, so no one's home. We could stop by my place, get cleaned up and look at that disc a little closer? I live just around the block." Lucia offered. She stood up, too quickly, and she almost toppled over. She steadied herself and closed her eyes, slowly regaining strength.
Lucia, weak from exertion of her powers, nearly collapsed trying to get to her feet. Alaria started towards her, holding out her hand to help steady her. Lucia's eyes were closed. So instead, Alaria decided to look out to the city. The sun was beginninng to climb higher into the sky now, shortening the shadows of the taller buildings in the city. All the while she thought about the disc…
Secret Society? In college? No kid in the right mind would join something like that without reason or force…
She turned to Patagonia, "So what was that symbol for? Is it a stauts symbol, or just the actual symbol of the society itself?"
(I just realized I butchered status.)
(Aya. I might forget though. I'll operate off character names.)
