Jay closed his eyes, conceding. "Three.. targets deadpan in 1.2 seconds, with my Firestar Plus 9mm." He was proud of the time, but not of the things done in that time. It takes less than a second. Of course it felt wrong, sometimes it seemed right and other times the threats were too much to handle, now, he was just numb. The blackmail was still there, would still be there, no matter how much he wanted to refuse.
Alaria nodded, impressed, "Not bad, Jay. Not bad at all. But you seem bothered. Who all have you killed with that accuracy?" She leaned in close, bringing her voice down to a whisper, "You should be proud, through and through of how capable you are, yet I ain't seen a face more solemn."
She leaned back, talking normally again, "I will press no more. We all have our demons," she nodded to Patagonia, "but f you ever want to use that deadeye of yours for a purpose, you'll know where to find me when this all is done."
(What an interesting dynamic. :3)
(Just these two talking to each other, I mean I know it's kind of basic but it seems pretty real)
Lucia listened to the conversation between Alaria and Jay. She was surprised at how well Jay could shoot; she hadn't really expected it. She felt like she had nothing to offer beside these soldiers. All she had was a flame and a flying wood plank.
(Heya Emily, wanna join?)
The first comment of hers made him feel ashamed, though a small bit better after her second, at least knowing she wasn't taking him to her bad side just yet. He placed a hand on the pistol in his pocket, it still comforted him. If he could find a way out, it seemed like a, "Sweet deal," He said. "So.. this Steven, guy. Know any more about him then a name?"
"I know he's a creep, if that's what you mean," Patagonia sneered.
"Yeah, but location, possible obstacles, any other… inhuman feats of strength like your brother pulled?" Alaria was back into soldiering already. She fingered her briefcase, which held inside a high powered snub rifle. Spec-ops standard issue. Her favorite.
"I only know where his office is. He's probably got bodyguards and some shit somewhere, but I've never seen any besides my brother. He's around 400 pounds of muscle, though." Patagonia grimaced at a terrible memory and felt herself get nauseous, her stomach writhing as if something was alive and moving around inside her. "Anyone got a sick bucket?"
400? That didn't equate in Jay's head. That's a big man. He wasn't sure he really wanted to meet this guy, but this was more important than that. He couldn't just let so much chaos and fear rule over everything, which.. Seemed like something a guy like him could say.
Lucia exhaled deeply. This sounded completely insane. "I'll assume it's impeccably guarded. Do you have any idea of a side door or something with laxer security? Or any other way in, for that matter?"
Alaria frowned, "I'll take back what I said earlier. You look like hell. We need to get off, next stop."
Lucia looked over at Patagonia, who looked slightly green. She carefully stood up and went to talk to the driver. "Next stop is in 25 minutes, Pat." she told her friend. "You want anything? I have some medicine in my backpack, or some water?"
"We-we should be able to get in through the coffeeshop next door, I have a friend working there." Patagonia fought back the urge to vomit and accepted a water from Lucia. (we should do a tie in with the roleyplay titled "Roleplay ^-^")
(yeah ok, what's it about?)
(Basically the same type of world, coincidentally Jay is in it with a similar story. Except for that one is more a slice of life about furry friends in a coffee shop lol)
(basically my character on there, Aspen, who owns the coffeeshop, would help them through into Stephen's office, i'd have to tell everyone there we're doing that and they could participate or continue after a timeskip on that thread so its not too confusing ok this is still realy confusing umm)
(Oh, I didn't think we were actually moving threads, idk about that.)
(We should just leave this here, if you ask me….)
(Let's not confuse anyone.)
