"To get John out of there." Columbia snapped.
"To get John out of there." Columbia snapped.
"John!?" Patagonia exclaimed, smacking him across the face. "You idiot!! What was he doing there? He's not supposed to be out."
Columbia laughed mirthlessly. "We have connections."
"You little-" Patagonia started, but, seeing with a sinking feeling the malice in his gaze, changed directions. "Stephen. It's Stephen, isn't it? He wanted something?"
The brother ground his teeth together, silent.
"I want to know where the He'ck' they're at, and who is in charge of all of this. I want all their names. I want to know now." Jay growled threateningly, tail twitching against the floor. "I swear to Gods I'll tear your throat out."
A sinister smile grew on Columbia's face. "Feisty group, aren't we?" He laughed quietly. "And why would I tell you lot anything? Do you really expect a death threat to intimidate me?" His laugh grew louder. "They have done SO MUCH WORSE, you have NO idea!"
"You know what, fine. We'll do this the hard way." Patagonia shrugged out of her fleece and with blinding quickness grabbed her brother's throat and shoved him against the wall, cutting off his air. "Where is Stephen, and what did he want?"
The smile never left Columbia's face. "Stephen is where he always was." Columbia sputtered. "Kill me. Go ahead and kill me, Patty. You don't have it in you."
(remind me, Patagonia ran away from the Ivy League?)
(No but Jay'll break your fingers!)
(Actually, I thought she did….)
"You know, buddy boy, I have plenty of methods of persuasion. I suggest you talk, before I grab Misty, and then we have a really one-sided conversation.
(yeah she was busted out by a friend who they killed and now idk)
"You don't know me." Patagonia sneered, pressing his adam's apple harder. "I killed people every day, and guess who put me up to that? You, buddy boy. You're the reason I live like I do, and you will pay for that if it's the last thing I do. "What does he want?"
Columbia kept his eyes trained on his sister, hate and envy bubbling inside of him. "You were always too cowardly to go through with anything, but I wouldn't put it past any of your friends." he spat. He looked away and instead stared down the human girl. "Stephen wants the same thing as always. Forces, enough to overthrow the government. They're the same power-hungry lunatics as always."
"That's all you had to say," Patagonia murmured, no longer fully wholehearted about the situation. He's right… She leaned back with tears in her eyes for a few moments before turning to Alaria. "Stephen lives in Florida. We can continue this there. Now can I kill him?"
Columbia watched the tears in his sister's eyes. "Are you going to torture me? Like you told them I did, so long ago? Is that the idea?" he snarled.
Jay turned to go with them, "I really wouldn't put it past me," he assured him, "Stay away from Patagonia."
Columbia laughed with real amusement. "You always use the same story, Patty." he said softly to his sister. Through the hate for any reminder of his childhood, a cool rush of longing for any sort of sentiment from his remaining family enveloped him. He hid this behind a cruel grin.
Patagonia's face was emotionless as she silently and swiftly grabbed her handgun from her bag and shot two .22s pop pop into her brother's chest, killing him instantly. "And you always use the same guilt trip." I love you, brother. I'm sorry.
(OHMYGODMURDERER)
(shame I was hoping to play him for longer)
Lucia gasped as Columbia fell to the ground. "Well, then, I guess that's done." she choked out. She was unsure, but she thought she had seen the brightness of sadness in his eyes.
Jay blinked, surprised by the quickness of the events. "Well, alright.." he sighed, everything suddenly seeming much, much more real. "Florida, huh Pat?"
(oh oof sorry :P you can play Stephen if yah want)
"Let's go," Patagonia sighed. We have a long trip ahead of us if we choose to make it."
"Well, there isn't much choice now, is there?" Lucia asked, staring at the limp body.
Patagonia shook her head. "No. There's always a choice to make. We chose to set each other free, and now it's time for the next choice. It's just how life goes. No matter how much you wish things were… different." Her voice cracked and she wavered slightly towards the end but she quickly regained her composure and put the gun back in her bag.
