"My key isn't going to open up a bank vault, y'know. Just my lab. Not all of my lab either." Maroon started to talk, "The only thing that can open my left wall lab is a blood scan. Fitting, isn't it?"
"My key isn't going to open up a bank vault, y'know. Just my lab. Not all of my lab either." Maroon started to talk, "The only thing that can open my left wall lab is a blood scan. Fitting, isn't it?"
Lucy held back the urge to cringe, tossing her plan out. How was she supposed to get in now? She couldn’t just prick him with a needle to get a drop of blood or two, so how was she going to pull this off?
Maroon grinned, "But of course, I have a gadget on the right counter," he pointed to it, "that effortlessly takes blood without the person noticing. I use it on the people who want to donate blood, but are scared of the needle."
Lucy’s eyes drifted to the gadget, and she nodded. “Huh, how nice of you,” she said slowly, turning back to him. When the gadget is out of his line of sight, she thinks, ‘Abite’, and it is lifted into the air, and it pricks the back of his neck. The gadget is set back down quietly and the drops of blood appear in a small vial that sticks halfway out of her satchel. “Well, take care now. Hopefully you’ll be better soon.”
Maroon smiled, "Definitely." he walked out of the lab and into the main building.
Robin watched Lucy do this in silence, not sure whether to mention it or not. After Maroon left, he asked, "What are you doing?"
Maroon looked at the clock, waiting for Lucy to break into the left lab. He hadn't exactly been subtle about giving her clues, so she should be done any minute now.
Lucy turned to Robin and held up the vial. “That room he was talking about, arent you the least bit curious as to what’s in there? It was bad to steal, especially blood, but he’s obviously hiding something.” She approached the door and held the small bit of blood up to the scanner.
Odette found herself confused by their scientific discussion, or whatever it was, and stood near Robin who was currently talking to Maroon.
Lucy watched as the door unlocked and she pushed it open, peering inside hesitantly.
(want me to describe it?)
(Yeah, that’d be helpful.)
It kinda looks like this, only white and the glass tubes are filled with blood:

Lucy flicked a light on and her eyes widened. There was so much more blood than she had thought, as she had not expected there to be this much being stored. She grimaced noticeabley and stepped in, wanting to get a better look around just in case.
"I-I mean, isn't it his business?" Robin looked around nervously. (Gtg to bed)
Maroon grinned, any second now they'll leave. He was hungry and decided to do drink some tea.
(Alright, night.)
“Even if it is his buisness, it’s still kind of messed up, keeping all of this blood here. Besides, he wouldn’t need this much to test with,” She decided, her pace quickening, as she wanted to leave as soon as possible.
(Most of it is the artificial blood prototype. Like three-fourths of it is artificial)
Odette glanced at where Maroon had been standing. He had left. "Let's get out of here, this place is giving me the creeps." she spoke softly to Lucy
(Okay.)
Lucy exhaled sharply and went to one of the tubes. She crouched down wondered if there was a way she could get a small sample to examine later on.
"Whatcha doing Lucy?" Odette asked as Lucy went closer to the blood and crouched down next to it.
Maroon folded the newspaper he was reading and finished his tea.
( I have intangibility so that could be of use, idk ??? )
((*searches intangibility up on google) Sounds Great!)
“I need to get a sample of it to examine. It could be useful for other things in the future besides curing that one disease.” Lucy looked from Odette to the tube.
