He laughed. "Yeah, that would have been a big change." he replied, smiling.
He laughed. "Yeah, that would have been a big change." he replied, smiling.
"Yeah, it was." He chuckled softly in reply, his eyes shutting as he relaxed.
He smiled again, putting his plate away and then sitting back down.
"So, any questions for me?" He asks quietly, his eyes warm and soft.
He thought for a moment, then shook his head slightly. "No, not really." he replied softly, running a hand through his hair.
He nods and smiles a little before finishing off his tea. "Well… I suppose I have a small question. Do you know why your mom hired me?"
He blinked, smile slipping a little. "Oh. Uhm. Sort of." He replied slowly, lower lip catching between his teeth.
"I know that there are many people capable of protecting you. But… why me of all people?" He asks quietly.
"Oh. I don't know why you specifically." He said after a moment. "I thought you meant…why I needed a bodyguard at all."
"People have reasons for a body guard for a reason. I tend not to delve into the why unless they specifically tell me." He shrugged and smiled a little bit at the other.
He nodded a little bit. "Yeah. I…don't know why she picked you specifically. Sorry. I can…ask, if you want."
He shrugged. "Figured I might as well ask." He smiled a little bit before stretching.
He nodded a little, running his hands through his hair. "Yeah. Of course." He replied softly.
"How are you feeling?" he asks softly, his eyes gentle before offering a kind smile.
Jared shrugged a little. "Fine, I…I think." He replied softly. "Well. As fine as I ever am." He glanced over at a calendar, going over to it to check the day's schedule.
He nods and smiles a tiny bit, going over his schedule as well. He sighed softly before standing and cleaning up breakfast.
"Oh. I uhm…I'm supposed to visit the therapist today." Jared said slowly.
"Oh? That's fine. I can drive us there if you want." He smiled warmly.
He nodded a little, chewing on his lower lip. "Yeah, alright. Thanks." He said softly, running a hand through his hair.
"Of course." He smiles gently. "Alright, so what time do I need to take you?" He asks curiously, looking over at the other.
"About two." he replied, looking over at Victor with a faint smile. "It'll probably last for…about an hour, maybe. Ish."
"That's fine. I don't mind it anyways." He sighed and stretches a little bit.
He nodded. "Alright. Thanks." He flipped down on the couch on his back, letting out a faint sigh.
Victor nod slowly before settling down in a chair. "No problem. Is there anything I can do?" he asks gently. He didn't want to upset or disturb the male.
Jared shook his head. "No, not really. But thanks." he replied, turning his head to look over at Victor.
