Jared hesitated, shaking and shivering, and nodded a little bit. "Please s-stay?" he whispered, rubbing at his eyes again and trying not to start crying again.
Jared hesitated, shaking and shivering, and nodded a little bit. "Please s-stay?" he whispered, rubbing at his eyes again and trying not to start crying again.
He nods gently before pulling his coat off and wrapping it around the other, staying close. "Do you need anything?" He utters softly, his eyes filled with warmth.
Jared shook his head a little bit, still shaking. His eyes were shiny with tears still, and he looked like he was about to cry again.
His eyes grew soft before he slowly moved closer to gently cup the others cheeks. He wiped away Jared's tears slowly, his touch light and soft. "There we are…" He mutters softly.
Jared was shaking, and leaned into Victor's hands without quite meaning to. He closed his eyes, tears brimming against his lashes.
He wasn't sure how Jared would react, but he gently pulled the other closer to him wrapping him in warmth and assurance. "You're safe now. It's okay." He whispers as he smiled softly down at the other.
Jared shuddered a little, leaning into Victor and crying a little bit. "I'm sorry." He whispered, rubbing at his eyes. "I-I…"
He shook his head and gently hushed the other, "No, no… Don't apologize… You're safe now. It's okay." He mutters softly, glancing down at the other. "Don't apologize, Jared." He smiled kindly at the other, his eyes soft.
Jared sniffled a little bit, wrapping on arm around himself. He rubbed his eyes again, trying not to cry. Trying not to break down in tears again.
He ran his hand through Jared's hair, trying to soothe the male in any way possible. He rubs gently at Jared's arms, muttering soft words of comfort and assurance.
Jared was still quivering a little bit, leaning into Victor and trembling and trying so hard not to start crying again.
"You can cry… It's alright." Victor mutters gently, "It'll help, actually." He ran his hand through Jared's hair, making sure the other hadn't hurt himself when he had been thrashing.
Jared started to cry quietly, curling up in Victor's arms. It felt like forever since someone had been willing to hold him like this, and maybe it had been, he didn't know. "I-I'm s-sorry…" he whispered.
"Shh, shh… You don't need to be sorry…" He assures gently, just holding the other protectively. He just held the other, brushing away his tears and making sure he was okay.
Jared was shuddering and shaking and crying, holding onto Victor desperately. His red hair was messy, his eyes filled with tears.
Victor stayed there, his eyes filled with gentleness and warmth. He rubs Jared's back, plays with his hair, muttering gentle comforts.
Jared eventually calmed down, his breathing still a little ragged and uneven, but better than it had been.
Victor didn't move. He stayed there, curled around the other protectively, his hand rubbing through Jared's hair, or rubbing his back.
Jared sniffled softly. "I'm sorry if I-I woke you…" He whispered, shuddering just a little bit.
"No, no. I wasn't sleeping actually…" He shrugged before glancing down at Jared. "Are you alright?"
Jared shrugged a little, rubbing his eyes. "I-I don't know…" He whispered, biting his lip and looking up at Victor. The vulnerability, the brokenness in those eyes…it didn't belong in the face of such a young man.
He gently ran his thumb along Jared's cheeks and under his eyes. "I promise that you're safe Jared." Seeing Jared appear so weak made him sad. He didn't want to see that hurt and vulnerability. So he stayed. He wanted to make sure the other was okay and safe.
Jared swallowed hard, leaning into Victor's hand. He sniffled a little bit again. "I-I know, I just…I…"
He gazed at the other, letting him talk. He said nothing, just ran his hand through Jared's hair and listening.
Jared swallowed hard, shaking his head a little bit and leaning into Victor's hand.
