Cade felt a throb in his head. He winced at the feeling. He didn't get headaches like that often. There must've been something wrong. With shaking hands, Cade dialed Abbadon's number. There was no answer. He cursed, throwing his phone down on the bed. What was going on?
Rose barely ever got sick, besides when he would shift back and forth between human and demon. But this was something new. He was siting on his bathroom floor, loosing what he had to eat the night before. He whimpered softly, resting his head against the side of the bathroom tub.
(oh nooo poor Rose)
Cade cursed. The pain was starting to grow. He looked down at his phone again. If this had something to do with demons, maybe Rose would know something about it? He decided to shoot him a text.
'Hey, I just got a bunch of calls from Abbadon. He never calls me. I also feel kinda sick. IDk I might sound crazy but this never happens do you think something's going on?'
Rose heard a ding come from his phone back in his bedroom. He pushed himself up and stumbled back into his room, collapsing back in bed. He reached over and grabbed his phone, eyes squinting as he read the text from Cade. Cade was feeling sick too? So he texted him back-
‘Morning. I don’t feel too good either. I have a bad feeling too. Something might be happening’
He felt himself tense a little bit.
'What do you think it could be?'
Rose bit his lower lip sharply. He stayed curled up in his bed as he responded
‘I have no idea. I’ve never felt something like this before. And did you say Abbadon? What rank are you?’
(how do I answer than lmao)
(You said he was a war general, right?)
(yeah. should he say that then?)
"I'm a war general. I work with Abbadon sometimes," he said.
Rose’s brows arched in surprise when he read that.
‘Really? Well now I’m really embarrassed, I didn’t even recognize a war general’
He paused for a moment before sending a follow up.
‘Would this be easier to talk about in person?’
'Maybe. Do you want to talk about it in person?'
Rose chewed on his lower lip in thought before he texted, thinking that he may regret saying the last little bit.
‘That would probably be better. Though, it would be a plus to get to see you again in person’
Despite the pain of his headache, Cade smiled at that.
'okay. Where do you want to meet?'
‘We could meet outside of the coffee shop? Find a place more private to talk form there?’
'sounds good to me. See you in about 10 minutes'
Cade stood up to get dressed, this time choosing a hoodie, just in case he couldn't get ahold of water again.
Rose smiled, setting his phone down. He was delighted to see Cade, until he realized that meant he had to get out of bed and get cleaned up. He considered just fixing his unruly hair a bit and coming in his more relaxed tshirt and shorts. But would that be making a bad impression. He sighed, giving a whimper as he had to get out of his warm bed. He stretched, changing T-shirt’s and slipping on a pair of jeans. He ran a comb through his hair, though it didn’t do much for his bedhead.
(should we do another time skip or just desribe them leaving?)
(okay. you want to start or should i?)
(I can)
Rose arrived in front of the coffee shop, the nervous feeling still clouding his mind. He hadn’t eaten breakfast that morning. His stomach was still feeling a bit queasy, and he was afraid he might get sick again.
Cade walked up to the coffee shop when he spotted Rose. "Hey," he said giving a small wave.
Rose looked over at Cade upon hearing his voice. He gave a weak smile, waving back. “Hi. Not feeling too good either?”
(sorry I didn't respond, I'm attempting to draw Cade lol)
He shook his head. "I've had a horrible headache since this morning, and it just keeps getting worse."
