Rose nodded quickly before speaking. “Just across town, behind some parking garage.”
Rose nodded quickly before speaking. “Just across town, behind some parking garage.”
He nodded. "We'll meet there, then. See you, Abbadon," he said, hanging up the phone.
“You’re taking me with you?” Rose asked as soon as Cade had hung up, brow furrowed slightly.
(DUDE I GOT A DNA TEST FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!)
(AY THAT’S PRETTY COOL! When is your birthday??)
(It's tomorrow :D)
"If that's okay with you," Cade said. "I'm not sure it'll be safe here if the Angels do decide to attack."
(Happy early birthday!!)
Rose nodded in agreement. “No, it’s totally okay. I just don’t know how much I’ll be of help. I’m not exactly built for battle, if it comes to that.”
(Thanks!)
"No, you don't have to fight. I'd rather you not, actually."
(Np)
“No?” Rose asked, arching a brow. He knew that good fighters were prized in Hell. He couldn’t fight one bit. It wasn’t that he was terrible at it or anything he was sure that he could if he tried. He just simply didn’t want to hurt anyone, was all.
(sorry for leaving, I had my chromebook taken away)
"I don't want anybody to fight if they don't have to," he said with a shrug. "I value peace. Which is kind of odd for a war general demon, I guess."
(It’s completly okay)
Rose nodded a bit, running a hand through his hair in a thoughtful manner. “That’s kind of funny,” he said with a meek smile.
Cade smiled at him. "Ready to go?" He asked.
Rose hummed and nodded, beginning to walk. “This town is small-ish, so it shouldn’t be too far of a walk.”
"If it was nighttime, I might've been able to get away with flying," he mumbled, pulling a bottle of water out of his hoodie pocket and taking a sip.
“You can fly too?” Rose asked, looking up at Cade as they walked.
(quick thing, idk how it is in your story but in mine most mythical creatures are actually different types of demons. I just don't want you to be confused by this part lol)
"Yeah, I'm a siren," he said.
(Ohhh okay, cool)
Rose nodded slowly in understanding. “Never met a siren before,” he said with a light smile.
"Yeah, there aren't a lot of them around anymore," Cade said. He looked over at Rose for a few moments before tearing his gaze away.
“Oh,” Rose said in a softer tone now, nodding slowly. He wondered if Cade missed his kind. He probably did. “We’re not far, just a few more blocks.”
Cade nodded, tearing up a little bit. He reached for his broken seashell necklace, fiddling with it a little bit to calm himself down.
Rose bit at his lower lip, reaching over to give Cade’s free hand a quick squeeze before dropping his hand back to his side. “I’m sorry,” he murmured.
Cade felt his face heat up. His grip on his necklace tightened. "It's okay. I'm just a little bit emotional."
Rose nodded, looking up at Cade. “That’s okay. I hope you feel better,” he said in a light tone.
Cade smiled at him. "Thanks," he said. He let go of his necklace, letting his hand drop down to his side. He was trembling a little bit, but tried to keep himself still.
Rose had the urge to reach out and hold Cade’s hand again, but he managed to shove it towards the back of his mind as they arrived at the seemingly abandoned parking garage. “It’s just around back.”
