Rose nodded a bit, beginning to walk down the stairs again. “I don’t know how far down this goes. It seemed like a lot less coming up…”

"Hopefully not much further," he said.

“Yeah, hopefully,” Rose responded in a slightly nervous tone, both of his forked tones slipping out from between his lips.

(should we do a time skip or just end the staircase?)

(Yeah, we can just time skip to when they get to the bottom)
