Name: Cade
Age: somewhere around 2500 years old, but looks like he's about 22
Gender: Male
Wears: light colored clothing, flannel, nice shirts, button downs (sometimes)
Appearance: Ebony skin, frohawk hair, eyes slanted slightly upward, flat nose, broad shoulders, high cheekbones, features that are slightly feminine, muscular. His demon form is structurally the same, but he has fish scales and fins with really wide fish eyes and no eyelids. He also has no hair in demon form.
Personality: Friendly, kind, outgoing, calm, always takes a peaceful approach, cares deeply for many people, pretty chill but racism/homophobia/transphobia gets on his nerves and makes it more difficult for him to keep his cool
Background/other: Had a nice childhood, doesn't drink coffee but really likes tea, almost always stays in demon form. The only power he has is the ability to manipulate water and sea creatures

(Okay I’ll start then lol)

Rose loved the towns pretty little suburban areas. He loved the quaint, cozy looking homes and the human families who lived in them. He didn’t live in a suburban area, but people still waved in a friendly way when walking or driving by. But he wasn’t in a nice neighbor hood. All he could afford when being sent to Earth about 85 years ago was a terribly bland, small apartment. He slung a backpack filled with various items over his shoulder as he stepped out of the apartment, his skeletal like wings slipping back under his skin with a sickening crack. He adjusted his brightly colored yellow sweater as he left the lobby, now making his way down the street.

Cade stepped out of his small house, stretching and making his way toward his favorite bookstore. His headphones were blasting music, and he fiddled with the loose strings of his flannel as he crossed the street. His mouth was incredibly dry, and it made him a bit uncomfortable. He needed more water.

Rose wasn’t exactly sure where he was going when he had left the apartment complex. He decided that if he saw an interesting place, he would check it out. He felt like he was getting looks for his different appearance. He could help what he looked like, and it made him self conscious at times. Why did humans tend to be so judgmental towards strangers? No matter how much he learned about them, he wasn’t sure he would ever find out the answer to that question.

Cade finally reached the place and pushed the door open. It creaked, but he couldn't hear it over his music. The bookstore owner waved at him, and he waved back, smiling.

After a minute or so of walking, Rose stopped in front of a nice looking building. A bookstore? It seemed to catch his attention as he nudged the door open. The hinges creaked, must be an older building possibly. He looked around when first stepping inside, taking in the atmosphere.

(sorry for disappearing)
Cade grabbed a random book from a shelf, not even bothering to look at the cover before flopping over into a beanbag. He opened it to the first page, reading it to see if he liked it or not.

(It’s all good)

Rose walked to a random shelf, fingers skimming over the binds of the books. He never read many books, he should read more though.

He took his earbuds out, feeling like the music was a distraction. That's when he had noticed the man that walked into the shop. Cade knew that the shop didn't get very many customers, so it was somewhat exciting. He smiled.

Ross plucked a random book from the shelf, brows furrowed as he glanced over the back cover. This looked very graphic. His red eyes widened a tad, and he slid it back into its spot.
