Bean held Lilac close as Lilac whimpered in pain. “God, this hurts…” Lilac choked out, trying not to cry. Bean sighed. “I know, I know…but we did everything we could…” she told her sister, holding her closer as Luka nodded.
Bean held Lilac close as Lilac whimpered in pain. “God, this hurts…” Lilac choked out, trying not to cry. Bean sighed. “I know, I know…but we did everything we could…” she told her sister, holding her closer as Luka nodded.
"Fucking… fine. But only because I can't reach my own back," he huffed.
Tohru muttered something under his breath and started pulling of his hoodie and shirt, which were both now stained with blood.
There were cuts along his lower back, where his clothes had ridden up when he hit the floor earlier. Further up his back, where he had a large phoenix tattoo with its wings unfurled over his shoulders, he was untouched.
The bulk of the injuries were on the undersides of his forearms. The wounds stung furiously, but knowing he would be okay, it didn't bother him too much. It was the attention, the stress of the situation and the reminder of what happened to all his friends that bothered him and added onto his irritibility.
He looked to the Rose siblings.
"I'll be okay. It hurts… but it's looks a lot worse than it is. I promise."
Luka hugged Tohru’s arm. “I hope so…I can’t lose another person…not after…after…” his voice started to break as he spoke, reminding him of the forever severed bond between him and his deceased twin. He wanted to say more but all that came out was whining.
"Yeah, it's not that bad. There isn't any glass in any arteries, or veins. It just is some light wounds really." Rachel started pulling out pieces of glass, working her way downward towards his arms. "If you want me to stop, just tell me, okay?" She said gently. "Now just relax."
Mori stirred a bit at all the commotion and sat up, groaning softly in pain. After a couple of seconds, he got to his feet and immediately fell back over at soon as he tried to take a step. "Owww…" He pushed himself back up to head into the room to see what was going on.
"Yeah, I know," Tohru sighed, "And you'll know if I want you to stop."
He wasn't able to relax, of course, not that he was really trying to. All of Tohru's muscles were tense, and he was still incredibly shaken up. The pressure in his chest remained, and he found himself breathing strangely, in a slow but heavy pattern.
Occasionally, Rachel's help caused him to flinch, but it was bearable for the most part.
"Anyway… thank you guys for stepping in to help. I don't know how things could've turned out otherwise."
Levi suddenly felt tired and tipped sideways, lying on the floor next to Tohru. He tried to pay attention to the group and everything people were saying so he didn't slip into a memory again. "Well, thanks to you, I'm not gonna be a zombie," Levi mumbled to Tohru.
Lilac took a couple deep breaths, trying to fight back the urge to scream in pain. Luka continued to hug Tohru, shaking as he started to cry. Bean stayed silent before hitting her head. Your brother is an emotional mess and your sister is hurt! How can you call yourself a good sister?! her mind taunted her.
"Of course. We figured that you guys may need help, but didn't want to intrude, so we kind of hung back for a little bit. Wow. That sounds surprisingly creepy. Huh." Rachel shrugged and continued working. "Almost done…just a few more pieces. Oh, that's a big shard. You may want to bite down on something." She said, gripping the piece with her forceps.
(All of the Rose kids have trauma)
(i'm pretty sure all of the characters in the roleplay have trauma too XD)
"Mr. Tohru…?" Mori poked his head in the room and paled at the sighed of all the blood, feeling a bit nauseous, although he couldn't particularly tell whether the nausea was from the blood, concussion, or both. "Are you… are you… okay…?" He asked shakily, his knees growing weak as he slid to the floor.
(Yeah)
Lilac whimpered in pain, not able to hide it any longer. Bean snapped out of her distant-like state and turned to her sister, worry filling her eyes. Luka looked over at Lilac as well, not letting go of Tohru. Luka’s eyes were puffy as tears streamed down his face.
"I wasn't exactly going to leave you there," Tohru told Levi, "I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Not even my worst enemy."
He shrugged a bit at Rachel's response, but then paused when she mentioned the larger shard.
"Go on ahead. It'll be fine," he insisted, closing his teeth together a bit to make sure he didn't bite his tongue or anything when she did go to pull it out.
Bean helped Lilac sit up as she tried to figure out what was wrong. Think! What did Mom teach us about medicine?! she panicked as she started to unbandage her sister’s wound. Luka held onto Tohru tighter, seeing everything.
"And out it goes." Rachel whispered to herself, yanking the shard out. "And out comes the-Mori what are you doing up?" She rushed to the child, picking him up. "You should be resting."
Earl rushed out to the room where Lilac and Bean still were in. "Shit. I forgot to clean the wound." He pulled out some wipes, walking towards the brother and sister.
(BEAN’S A GIRL, Luka’s the boy-)
Bean pressed her hands against Lilac’s wound as Lilac winced in pain. “Come on…work with me here…” the older girl muttered as Lilac nodded weakly.
(HDGJJFHSJ I'M SORRY I MISUNDERSTOOD-)
(You keep doing this X’D)
Tohru flinched a lot harder at this one. As soon as the glass came free, more blood poured down over his arm. He clasped a hand over it and stopped when he noticed Mori next to him.
"Mori, are you alright?"
He gave a halfhearted smile.
"I'm fine myself, I just fell in some glass. But I'll be okay."
Still, he couldn't quite get a handle on his breathing. There was a pit forming in his stomach. It was all a lot to handle.
Luka hugged onto Tohru’s arm, whimpering. The poor kid couldn’t handle what happened with Hailey…now, this?! It was almost too much for him…He could feel the waterworks forming in his eyes.
Mori hesitantly moved closer to Tohru, seeming nervous. Tohru was clearly hurt, and Mori wasn't sure how badly. He probably couldn't handle another person dying. "I'm… I-I'm okay… miss Rachel said I've got a con…" He paused for a moment, struggling with the word, "…concs… shun… concushhh… um… my head hurts."
“A-A concussion?” Luka choked out, reaching his arm out to Mori. Other than his siblings, Mori and Tohru were the closest people he had to family here…and he needed them.
"Yeah, that… she wrapped stuff around my head and gave me stuff to swallow." He pointed to the bandages on his head and took Luka's hand in his own smaller one. He held tightly to him, needing the comfort as well.
Luka pulled Mori close shaking. He was so scared…He was scared for Tohru…for Bean and Lilac…for Mori…and for everyone else. He wasn’t sure if he could handle any more pain…
