Corbin stepped backwards away from the window, huffing to himself. He went to his closet, grabbing a tshirt and slipping that on. He felt his stomach lurch from hunger, and he huffed sharply, rubbing at his eyes. He really did not want to go out of his room, because he knew Matrix would be there. But he was pretty hungry, and he did have plenty of left overs from earlier in the fridge. With a sharp breath, he left his room, walking down the hall and into the kitchen.
Matrix chokes and hurls again into the crater below. He slumps again against the window sill, gasping slightly. The molten excess on his chin glows slightly brighter but then dulls down
Corbin got into the fridge, taking out the foil wrapped left overs. He looked over into the living room, watching Matrix for a moment. “What are you doing?” He asked.
Matrix pants looking over at Corban, "You may well… ask…." He wretches again and hurls out the window.
Corbin’s brows raised in surprise, and he set down the plate on the counter before walking hesitantly over to Matrix. He didn’t get in reach, but he stood nearby, watching with a frown.
Matrix falls back down on the floor. He looks up and glares at Corban, "What do you want now."
“You were coughing like crazy so I just came to see what was wrong with you,” Corbin answered, a frown now coming to his lips. He reached up, shutting the window, as it was making the room a bit cold.
Matrix starts and quickly opens the window again. He throws it open so hard it bangs on wall outside. He hurls the molten stuff again out of it.
Corbin grimaced slightly as he watched Matrix get sick again. “Why the hell are you throwing up so much?” He asked.
"Why would you care. If you arent telling me anything why should I tell you." He gasps, wiping his chin with his shirt. The molten substance burns straight through his shirt in a long track from his wrist to elbow
“I’m not telling you anything because what happened to me isn’t important right now. You throwing up whatever that is is important right at this moment,” Corbin argued. He peered our the window, his eyes widening with shock as he saw a hole that seemed to be seared into the grass below.
"It doesnt…" Matrix wheezes, hanging out the window just in case.
“It does because you’re burning a hole in my yard. God, if this catches my goddamn house on fire..” Corbin huffed. He ran a hand over his face as he thought about that possibility. He would not be able to afford fixing it.
Matrix hurls again then glares at Corban, panting. He falls back against the wall under the window. His legs where splaid and hands limp. He rolls his head around to rest on his shoulder as he coughs and wretches again.
“Jesus, you need to go to a doctor or something,” Corbin said. He frowned down at Matrix, wondering why the hell he was suddenly acting so sick.
"I dont. There are none… This is what I get from having-" He gestures to his 'heart', "This has been happening every time I get into a fight for my thousands of years…"
Corbin frowned at that, nodding his head slowly in understanding. “In my defense, you were asking for it. You weren’t listening.”
"Excuse me?!" Matrix roared
“I’m being serious. I told you to put the dog tags down, and you didn’t listen,” Corbin said. He kept his tone level as he frowned at Matrix, shifting a bit out of his reach.
Matrix glares at the human but didnt have the engery to move. Instead he nods and quickly jumps up over the window sill again to hurl, "To bad… You found… A defective… Demon to sell… You'll be suffering… longer…"
“Fuck off,” Corbin muttered, walking back into the kitchen. He unwrapped the food, putting it into a microwave before starting a timer to heat it up.
Matrix falls back down on the floor, coughing and wheezing. (A bit like Newt when he was turning the the maze runner if you have read/seen it)
(Yeah, I get what you mean)
“Hungry?” Corbin asked, an edge to his tone. He didn’t expect Matrix to get up and come over, much less respond. Though he could assume that the demon was hungry.
Matrix just was limp and wheezing. He attempts a shrug but just ends up having to dodge the molten excess out the window
