“And how does my health concern you?” Corbin questioned further. He frowned heavily at Matrix, eyes narrowing at the dog tags. He reached out, moving to snatch them away.
“And how does my health concern you?” Corbin questioned further. He frowned heavily at Matrix, eyes narrowing at the dog tags. He reached out, moving to snatch them away.
Matrix jerks them away, "You wont make it very far with that injury. Even with that dog to help slightly." MAtrix actually really loved that dog even though it didnt like him very much. He un hitches the dog tags
“Make it far…” Corbin mumbled to himself before shaking his head. “I have nothing to worry about, I’m staying right here. I’m perfectly healthy these days,” he argued.
"You arent… I saw the medications in the bathroom (If he has any)." Matrix puts the dog tags around his own neck. The fell just above the molten light of the 'heart'
(He does)
“That’s.. That’s not for my physical health. That’s for my PTSD. I was a soldier, of course I’m going to medicate,” Corbin said. His jaw clenched tightly when Matrix put on the dog tags. To him, it was something like disrespect. He had no right to be wearing something that sacred.
Matrix shrugs, "That just proves my point." He could feel the metal of the dog-tags growing hot near his 'heart'
“Don’t do anything to those,” Corbin snapped, referring to the dog tags. “You have no right to be wearing those,” he added, his voice just as sharp.
"Oh? Then come get them." He challenges to prove a point.
Corbin glared sharply at Matrix for a moment before looking over at Orion. He gave two short, sharp whistles, and the dog was suddenly alert, his ears up. He began to growl, looking to Corbin in a waiting manner. He motioned to Matrix, and the dog was suddenly up, his teeth bared as he was suddenly knocking Matrix over. Corbin simply watched as the dog barked and snapped at Matrix’s face, never actually biting him, though.
Matrix falls to the ground. His teeth bared at the dog. His snarls where just as loud and demanding as his, "Get off. Dog!" He bites at the dogs ear which is a move of dominance in dogs (It really is. Sorry if that's a bit far. I would never actually hurt le daggo)
(It’s all good!)
Orion growled, snapping at Matrix’s face again, coming close to his nose. Corbin gave two quick whistled again, and Orion got off of him. But that didn’t last long, because he was quickly taking the dogs place, pinning Matrix down with his hands squeezing the demon’s neck.
Matrix chokes. His hands reach up to grab onto Corban's neck as well. The molten 'heart' pulsates then seems to grow darker. Threads of it seem to run up his neck through his veins and gleam under the human's fingers as they fade slightly. Matrix coughs and red hot stuff dribbles down his chin (It's another side effect to having his condition)
Corbin had the urge to keep strangling Matrix and just kill him already. Matrix was such a menace, and had caused him so much difficulty. But something in him told him to stop, and after a moment longer he did. He got up, but not before pulling the dog tags off of Matrix. He stood up, collecting his other badges as he breathed heavily, adrenaline running through him.
Matrix sits up slightly, leaning on his elbows. He coughs and more molten seeps from his mouth onto the floor where it singed a hole right through it. He holds his neck where his veins where still glowing, "Why'd you stop?"
“Shut up, and don’t touch my stuff,” Corbin grumbled, putting the things away before he stepped towards the hall. He looked over at Matrix, sighing as he shook his head slowly and limped down the hall to his bedroom.
(The 'wearing the dog-tags thing' was supposed to be a cute thing but I love it turned into a fight! XD
"Wimp. How could have you been a soldier if you cant even kill a lowly demon." Matrix hisses after him through more deadly coughs of molten stuff
(Lmao, I know. I feel like if their relationship developed and got better, then Corbin would definetly let Matrix wear them lol)
Corbin ignored Matrix’s taunts, walking into his bedroom and shutting the door. God, how was that demon able to make him feel so much stress. He sat on his bed, holding his head in his hands. Orion stayed in the living room, panting as he laid on the rug.
(Lol I figured as much! XD
Matrix stands and walks over to the dog, "Hey bud. Whistles Hey. Sorry about that. If I could just make sure you're ok." He reaches for the dog.
Orion looked over at Matrix, his ears sticking straight up. The dog sniffed at his outstretched hand before nudging it with his nose. Corbin was up after a moment, pacing a bit until he went into the bathroom.
matrix smirks and rubs the dog's nose. The his ears where he had bit the one, "Good boy…"
Corbin looked at himself in the mirror, breathing sharply as he tried to catch his breath a bit. He was fine, he was okay. Nothing was wrong, he took care of it. Orion gave a whine, getting up and going to Corbin’s door, whining to be let in.
Matrix watches the dog leave and sighs. He leans on the couch and stares at the ceiling, "I always mess up…"
Corbin walked to the door when he heard Orion whining. He opened the door, letting the dog inside before flicking off the light. He was so tired, and all he wanted to do was sleep.
Matrix falls on the couch, rubbing his neck. He occupationally sprints to the window to spit out more molten excess into the dirt outside. After a few of those there was a sizable crater under the window
Corbin went to his bedroom window, huffing sharply as his fingers traced over the scratches. He wondered how much it would cost to fix something like this. It was probably overpriced and something he couldn’t afford at the moment.
