"Perfect," Alistair said with a bright smile, tossing the other shirt in the drawer, and pulling on the Coldplay one. "They're one of my favorite bands." He went and flopped down on the bed next to Chase, looking over at him. "How about we stop at the diner on the way to the park for some breakfast?"
“That sounds really nice,” Chase beamed at him and stretched his arms, “Shall we get going?”
"Oh, we should probably put more ointment on your bruises," Alistair replied, remembering the events of the previous day. "Then we'll head out."
“Oh right,” Chase said, then tugged off his shirt. His chest and abdomen certainly looked better than yesterday, but it was still sore when Chase prodded at some bruises.
"I'll be right back, don't poke at them," Alistair said, heading downstairs to get the first aid kit. Coming back and sitting on the bed, he got out the ointment and bandages. "Do you want me to do it again?"
“Yes please,” Chase said with a smile at his boyfriend then scooted closer to Alistair.
Alistair nodded and began to gently apply the ointment to Chase's chest, abdomen, and back, focusing on the worst of the bruises. When he had finished and wrapped bandages around him, Alistair handed Chase his shirt and kissed his cheek. "Ready, babe?"
Chase absolutely loved it when Alistair’s gentle hands put ointment on his bruises and wrappings on him, it made yesterday not so bad. He slipped his shirt on and pulled Alistair close for a deep kiss on the lips. Chase pulled away with a smile, “Ready.”
Alistair smiled back and pecked Chase's lips again before grabbing his hand. "Let's go then!"
Once downstairs, he stuck his head in Kelsey's office. "Hey, cuz, we're gonna go to the diner then the park."
Kelsey looked up from her computer. "Okay, can you grab some milk from the store on your way back? I used the last of it on my cereal."
"Sure," Alistair replied.
He turned to Chase, "Do you want to walk or drive? It's not too far, so either would work."
“Your choice, I don’t mind either way,” As long as I am with Alistair, I’ll always be happy. Chase gave a warm smile.
"Ummm, how about we drive then? Kelsey asked us to get milk, and I'm too lazy to carry in," Alistair proposed.
“Alright,” Chase said and they started walking to the car. Chase hopped into the passengers seat and turned so he could look at Alistair while he was driving.
(Oof, sorry, I’m doing two different rps at once, lol, I’ll fix it to Chase)
(Lol, you're fine. I get it, I'm on like three)
Alistair held Chase's hand, tracing circles with his thumb, as they drove down the street. "Mind if I turn on the radio?" he asked, glancing over at Chase.
“I don’t mind at all,” Chase replied, turning on the radio himself so Alistair wouldn’t have to. He started humming quietly with the music.
Alistair hummed along with Chase and the radio as they drove to the diner. When they arrived, he went around the car as Chase got out and took his hand. Walking into the diner, they went to a booth and sat down.
Chase scooted close to Alistair arm looped his arm around his. Alistair’s arm was strong and corded with muscle, and Chase hummed, “I love you, Alistair.” He didn’t even notice the waitress walking up to them.
Also not noticing the waitress, Alistair put his arm around Chase's shoulder with a smile. "Love you, too, babe."
The waitress looked between Alistair and Chase for a moment, brows furrowed, before brightening and letting out a squeal. "ALISTAIR, why didn't you tell me you got a boyfriend?!?!" she demanded, putting her hands on her hips. "I thought we were friends!"
Chase whirled his head around, suddenly aware of the waitress. He snuggled closer to Alistair without realizing and then said, “Um, hi.”
Alistair grinned at the waitress. "Hey, Kendall!" he turned to Chase, "Chase, this is an old friend of mine, Kendall Willis," he turned back to Kendall. "Kendall, this is my boyfriend, Chase Goeman"
Kendall looked Chase up and down. "What did Alistair do to get a cutie like you?" she asked him.
Chase blushed furiously, “I, well,” He pulled me out of a dumpster, “He really didn’t even have to do anything.” Chase looked at Alistair with a small smile. Because Chase would’ve fallen in love Alistair no matter what he did. Chase blushed even more when he added, “I mean, he did kiss me.”
Kendall's eyes widened and she grinned. "OOOOH, Little Al finally had his first kiss!" she squealed, causing Alistair to turn bright red. Smirking, she leaned in towards Chase conspiratorially and whispered, "You may not believe it, but Alistair here has always been a big romantic."
"Kennie, stoooop," Alistair whined, covering his scarlet face with his hands.
“Little Al?” Chase turned to Alistair with with a grin, “You’re a romantic?” Chase licked his lips, his arms finding their way around Alistair’s waist. Chase kissed his boyfriend on the cheek, “Lucky for you…” Chase rested his chin on Alistair’s shoulder, “I find romantics to be the most adorable.”
