Chase debated just kissing him. All he have to do is swim just an inch closer… Chase shut down the thought. He should be grateful for his friendship with Alistair, and if he screwed it up he’d be absolutely heartbroken. If Alistair didn’t want that… Chase just couldn’t take the risk, the stakes were too high despite how much he wanted to kiss him. Gosh his heart was pounding, all Alistair would have to do was reach out and he’d be able to feel the repetition of the thumps. Chase finally breathed, “Alistair?”
Alistair hummed in response, still gazing at his face, and his eyes flicked down to Chase's lips. He slowly reached a hand out and ran it through Chase's wet curls, still not saying a word.
I want to kiss him…
Chase swam closer, close enough that their legs almost touched as they treaded water. “Alistair?” Chase breathed again. He was lost, lost in Alistair’s eyes. And he didn’t want to be found by anyone other than Alistair himself. He wanted to kiss him so bad, but he forced himself to stay put, watching. Waiting.
Alistair reached out again and gently cupped Chase's uninjured cheek and drew him forward. Then, he slowly, softly pressed his lips against Chase's. Stars, his lips were so soft. He closed his eyes, savoring the moment, the feeling.
Alistair loved it. He loved him.
Chase’s eyes closed and he tangled his arms around Alistair. He kissed him deeply, and gosh… It was all he’d ever wanted and more. It was love. Unconditional love. Chase deepened to kiss. It was like all the colors, tastes, sounds… It was like fireworks and crackling sparks as the world faded around him. Chase couldn’t even describe it.
Alistair wrapped an arm around Chase's waist and continued kissing him as he used the other arm to swim them over to the stairs, where he sat down and pulled Chase closer. He passed his tongue across Chase's bottom lip as he brushed his hands down Chase's sides.
Stars, I never want this to end…
Chase sat on Alistair’s lap and his hands brushed down Alistair’s back. He pressed himself flush against Alistair. He loved him. He really really loved him. Chase only broke the kiss long enough to mummer against Alistair’s lips, “I love you,” Then he went right back to kissing him. It was like a dam was broken and Chase could no longer hold himself back.
Alistair let out a small moan, and murmured back against Chase's lips, "I love you, too," before going back to moving his lips against Chase's. How were Chase's lips so dang soft? They felt and tasted so good. He had never kissed someone like this. He had never kissed someone, period. Their lips moved in sync as he rested his hands on Chase's hips, careful to avoid the bruises he knew were there. Slipping his tongue past Chase's lips, he brushed it against Chase's tongue.
Chase responded, his tongue dancing around Alistair’s. Chase put his hands on Alistair’s lower back. He loved it all. Alistair was so gentle, so soft, and his back and abs were so chiseled, he just wanted the world to fade away. But, the world had to disagree. Chase heard a car pulling up, and pulled away with a frown. It was probably his father. He never really supported Chase on his liking to guys, so he forced himself to slide off Alistair’s lab.
Alistair's lips were red and swollen when Chase pulled away. His gaze remained on Chase's lips.
"Your dad has absolutely terrible timing," he pouted, then grinned. He stood up and helped Chase out of the pool.
Chase got out, still blushing, and still dripping water when he saw his dad. He hoped it didn’t look as obvious as it felt. His dad got out of the car, looking the two over. “So who are you?” Mr. Goeman asked Alistair skeptically as he grabbed a duffel bag out of the car.
(Yep, just keep that we have all night to the PM. XD)
(I don’t even plan on writing that all night lol)
(I figured kissing and snuggling works perfectly on its own)
Alistair had wisely grabbed a t-shirt on the way to the front door, thinking Chase's dad would not appreciate him answering the door shirtless next to his son.
"My name is Alistair Enderas, sir, nice to meet you" he replied, holding out his hand to shake. "Chase and I are friends at school."
(I fully agree, I just didn't word that so well earlier -_-; sorry if I accidentally made it weird. I changed it)
(I actually didn’t see it lol, I needed a shower then my family was talking to me for a bit, but I’m back now)
Mr. Goeman shook Alistairs hand and asked, “When should I come back tomorrow?” Mr. Goeman handed Chase the duffel bag, not even glancing at his son. Chase awkwardly put the duffel bag inside. It was always awkward between him and his father, like there was some invisible, infinite tension.
"Does two-ish work for you?" Alistair asked politely, though he noticed the strain between father and son. "I figured we could work on homework tomorrow, too."
“Alright, take care,” Mr. Goeman turned around and went to the car.
“Love you, Dad,” Chase called quietly, but loud enough for Mr. Goeman to hear, from the door. His father only glanced back at Chase before getting in the car and driving off. Chase looked back at Alistair, happy to be just the two of them again.
(I fully agree, I just didn't word that so well earlier -_-; sorry if I accidentally made it weird. I changed it)
(Ur good, don’t worry about it :)
"Alrighty," Alistair said with a smile, glad that Chase's stoic father was gone. "Let's put this in the guest room; then we can go back to the pool or figure out something else to do." Taking the duffel in one hand and Chase's hand in the other, he led the way back upstairs.
Chase held onto Alistair’s hand as if he’d never hold it again. He followed up the stairs, and a thought crossed his mind, “Does this mean we can be boyfriends?”
Setting down the duffel, Alistair took Chase's other hand. "Do you want us to be boyfriends?" Alistair asked, looking Chase in the eyes. "If you want to, I would love to be your boyfriend." He smiled softly.
Chase’s eyes glimmered, “Yes, yes, yes!” And then Chase nearly fell on top of Alistair, hugging him tightly around the waist and nuzzling his head into his boyfriend’s chest. Chase liked how it sounded, like an exotic lime green with hints of blue.
