Nyx wrinkled his nose. "Yes I would too." He replied. "Have trouble, I mean. I doubt any of them would be quite as handsome." He flicked Jude's nose gently. "And I doubt any of them would be quite as chill about the fact that I can snap their bones."
Jude scoffed slightly, looking at Nyx like what he said was blasphemous, "Have you seen the men around here?" He shook his head, "I mean…past all the man-buns and beards…whew. Aaand–" Jude smiled, pointing to him like he was making a point, "You could always call it 'a firm grip.'"
Nyx wrinkled his nose. "Beards are gross." he replied instead. "Most of the scientists have them." he shrugged his shoulders. "Besides, I like you, remember?"

I was very extremely tired last night, and my brain was like "What if Nyx could be pregnant??? bc he was created in a lab and stuff??" and half of me was like "where tf is this coming from??" and the other half was like " well that could be interesting" lmao. so. what would you possibly think of that as a plot twist later? obviously it's a little strange, but like I said, I was exhausted lmao. we only have to do it if you want to tho XD)
Jude smiled shyly, running a hand through his hair, "…Yeah, I know." He looked down at Macy and then back at Nyx, "But you don't like beards? Would you still like me if I grew one out?"

"Beards are gross." Nyx replied. "The scientists have them." he repeated, looking at Jude. "And I don't want to associate you with the scientists."

"Mhm," Jude sighed, hating that he wouldn't be able to fix what happened within his father's company without people knowing that Nyx was alive and alone out in the world. "Okay, no beard, then." He smiled.

"Good." Nyx pulled him down for a kiss, smiling against Jude's mouth. "Thank you." he cuddled closer to Jude, smiling softly.
"Here," Jude said, gently lifting Macy from Nyx's lap and putting her on the ground. He smiled at her little stretch and yawn, turning to back to Nyx and winding an arm over his shoulders.

Nyx leaned against Jude, closing his blue eyes for a moment. "Can I stay here tonight?" he asked softly. "Instead of going back into the pod?"
"I'm not sure if you can," Jude said, wondering if Nyx could sleep or eat without the pod, and if he'd have to call someone to help with that. He smiled at Macy, wandering out of the living room, "Though I'd really like it if you did."
Nyx frowned a little, closing his eyes and going through his files. "I can. Though it might throw off my body's rhythm, and I'll need to eat like…a lot tomorrow." He opened his eyes to look up at Jude.
"Oh," Jude smiled, meeting his gaze, "Okay, then. " He blinked, "And I…don't know how to ask this, but have you eaten anything? Like…I don't know. Did they bring you stuff?"
He blinked, then shook his head. "No. They never brought me food. Just hooked me up to the pod. It takes care of all dietary needs." He replied.
Jude bit his lip, trying to push away the greater sense of betrayal that he felt towards his father. He smiled instead, softly kissing Nyx's cheek, "Would it make you happy if I made you breakfast tomorrow? We could have lunch at the zoo and then dinner at the little Italian place?"
Nyx grinned. "Yes please." He said happily, leaning into Jude and smiling. He ran a hand through Jude's hair, marveling a little at the feeling of it beneath his fingers.
"Want me to make dinner tonight too?" Jude quietly asked, smiling at Nyx's affection. "I took a class on making pasta, I think you'd like that. –But we can make other stuff too."
Nyx shrugged a little bit. "I don't need to eat today, but if you cook, I'll eat." He replied with a happy little smile.
"Okay," Jude said, glancing at the clock before kissing Nyx's smile, "You wanna help me make it later on? We could put on some records and jam out." Jude smiled, "–Plus, you'd learn a little something."
Nyx kissed him back. "Sounds perfect." He replied softly. He pressed closer to Jude, holding him close.
Jude brushed a hand over Nyx's cheek and to the edge of his chin, tipping his head back at a better angle to kiss him. "Have I told you how much I like kissing you?" He said through a smile.
Nyx looked up at Jude, and smiled back. "No." he replied with a soft laugh. He wrapped his arms around Jude's waist.
