"Think next time," Farah countered sternly. She slowly approached Rosalind, speaking internally to the woman she used to love as her mother. I know it's me you really want. You didn't have to bring my daughter into this.
Oh, but I did. She's more powerful than either of you realize. And you kept her under wraps for years.
Farah glared. "Let her go, Rosalind."
Rosalind smirked wickedly and twisted Eve's arm a bit more, causing her to cry out in pain.
"eve!" anya came up " you remember that deal you gave me as a kid, ill take it! ill leave alfea and go with you. just let her go!"
Farah glanced at Anya worriedly. "What deal?"
Eve shook her head vehemently. "Anya, no. Whatever it is you're doing, stop doing it."
"No! rosalind i take the deal! let. her. go." she said sternly
Farah reached out and took a firm hold of Anya's bicep. "What deal?" she demanded quietly.
Eve was trembling, close to tears. "No," she begged. "Anya, don't."
" rosalind wanted me to take hold of something, expose my true self. but i couldnt have realworld contact. but if she lets eve go i'l go with her. eve is safer here then with me anywhere. isnt that what you said?"
Farah pressed her lips together. "That was before I knew you," she muttered. "On my signal, you gave Eve and run. Don't look back, everything will be okay."
"Well?" Rosalind asked, turning Eve's wrist so she whimpered.
anya shook her head " this isnt your battle farah." she said and walked to rosalind. she wouldnt look at eve as she did.
"Anya," Eve whispered. "Don't do this."
Rosalind made sure Farah stayed back as she took Anya's wrist in her other hand.
anya yelped at first, the burns stinging harshly under her grip. " ow ow ow!"
Rosalind smirked. Her eyes met Farah's. "Farah," she acknowledged. "Thank you. Now, I have the two most powerful fairies in the Otherworld in my grasp.
Eve whipped around, looking panicked. "What?"
Farah's eyes widened, but she was too late. Rosalind already nodded to Anya's father. "Now!" she called.
" mom! run!" anya yelled. she burned the hand holding eves wrist as she caused rosalin to let go " run eve!" she called
Rosalind stumbled back in pain, and as she did, Eve snagged Anya's other wrist and pulled. "Not without you!"
"yes eve go!" she said sternly, jerking her wrist from eve
Farah pulled Eve back, and Eve struggled against her mother's firm grip. "No!" she cried. "No!"
anya looked to rosalind. feeling the warmth of the womans magic.
Rosalind grinned. "It's about time you were reunited with your father," she whispered.
"Anya!" Eve cried, throwing herself against Farah's grip.
anya cried silently, hearing eve crying
"Let's go." Rosalind yanked Anya away. "Mavrice!"
"Let me go," Eve snapped at Farah. She had never spoken to her mother that way. Her daughter's tone shocked Farah.
mavrice had come, saul no longer tailing behind him.
"Eve, listen!" Farah urged her. "It will be alright. I won't let anything happen to her."
"You already did!" Eve cried.
Farah's features grew cold. "No, I haven't. I–"
"Yes, you did! I love her more than you will ever love me!" Eve snapped. "So let me go!" She twisted her wrist free and shoved her mother away. Farah stumbled back in shock, Saul racing up to her side to steady her.
"Eve…" Farah whispered, but her daughter was already sprinting away.
"Anya!"
anya looked back "eve! no!" she cried
Eve was in a dead sprint towards them. "Anya!"
Rosalind grinned. "Mavrice, handle her. Push her magic. I want to see if it's true." Her grip on Anya stayed strong. Her magic was actively repelling any heat Anya attempted to burn her with.
Anya was trying her hardest. "EVE!"
Mavrice threw everything he had
Eve stopped running, and without thinking, she unleashed as much power as she could. A mix of emotions bubbled up inside her – love, regret, anger, longing, fear, confusion. Magic rushed through her, and she blast Mavrice back with power she never knew she had. As she caught her breath and looked down at her trembling hands, Rosalind watched with intense interest.
"I told you," she called to Eve.
