anya woke up "mm."

Feeling her partner wake up, Eve quickly pretended to be asleep so Anya wouldn't worry.

anya tried to wake eve up with a kiss.

Eve's reaction was natural. Her eyes fluttered open, and as she "woke up," she kissed Anya back sweetly. "Good morning, my darling," she murmured. "How did you sleep?"

' good, you?" she asked softly

"Mmm, good," Eve replied as well. She smiled and placed a soft kiss on Anya's forehead.

" " mmm is it the weekend"

"You're a day earlier, my dear. Today is Friday, and my mother is expecting us in her office before our first class," Eve answered.

" eahhh lets get ready to go.."

Eve nodded. She slipped off the bed and went to her closet to get dressed.

ayna went to get changed, scars on her side finally visible in the morning sun.

Eve returned seconds later with clothes in her arms. She freely checked out her girlfriend's body, and her eyes locked on the scars. "Anya…"

"hmm"? she hummed happily and looked over her shoulder,

"What happened?" Eve was at her side in an instant. "Who did this?"

" eve.. it was a long time ago.."

"Who?" she demanded, and there was a strange edge to her tone.

"dad" she whispered.

Eve's fingers curled into fists. "Where is he now?"

"nowhere, eve dont worry about it!"

"Anya, please tell me where he is," Eve begged. She cupped Anya's cheek gently.

" eve drop it." she said as her voice trembled " please." she looked back, her eyes threatened to spill " it was a long time ago "

Eve pulled her into her chest and hugged her gently. "It's okay. You're okay. You're safe. No one is ever going to hurt you."

" eve i can hold my own too." she said softly

"I'm going to protect you," Eve said firmly so her voice didn't waver. "Nothing bad is going to happen to you anymore."
