Aurelius let Nox walk beside him. She restlessly unfurled her great wings, then folded them back.
"Want to go on a ride? Or scout?" he asked.
"Perhaps." Nox replied.
Aurelius nodded. "Okay. I'm not busy."
"I know."
Aurelius stroked her head, and they went back into town.
Once again the massive horned head lowered. Cain easily jumped upwards, coming to once again stand tall upon the dragon's head. With an unspoken word, Jun stood. Great read wings unfurled fully from his sides, head lifting as sunlight danced across red, black, and gold scales. The dragon crouched low to the ground. He rocked his haunches a bit, then leapt upwards. In several sweeping wingbeats, the massive beast was airborne.
Once again his great shadow covered the village for several moments before disappearing, allowing sun to shine down. Jun's wings beat the air, causing a crack like thunder. The giant beast tipped his wing, heading towards another mountain. When they preferred their solitude, they made sure it was kept. The man and dragon living side-by-side in a cave, far from any kind of civilization. It was a feat in itself to actually find a cave which could accommodate Jun's great size, but they had managed.
Cain remained standing on the dragon's head, even as the wind tore past. The strong currents of air tugged at his cloak, threatening to tear it from his form. The man glared straight ahead of him. Yet, the cold air was comforting in a way to him. The sky was an escape, not just for dragons, but humans as well. Though in different ways and forms.
Cain's choice, standing atop his mount as the giant, red dragon moved through the sky. The wind rushing past was almost calming. He slowly started to close his eyes, but jerked them open again. The male sighed, finally speaking in a soft voice.
"Let's head back home Jun…I've had enough 'socializing' for the day."
The red dragon only released a soft rumble in response to his rider. The beast seemingly picked up his speed. Though he was nowhere near as fast or maneuverable compared to smaller, lithe dragons. Hardly any dragon back in the village compared to his size, Jun considered to be the largest since if it came to it, he could very well carry a few smaller dragons on his back if the need were to ever arise. The dragon continued his course to the mountain, home.
(Idk if this RP just died, but it did actually give me a better idea for the world that I was trying to create a while back, so we'll see if I can start writing again.)
((OOC: I'm still around. Was really enjoying it))
(I'm still here too i dont want it to die)
(I haven't done anything……………….sssoooooooooooo…………………………..)
(Okay, sweet. Maybe we just need something to push the plot forwards.)
(Yeah well someone's dragon had a dream about them getting attacked by people trying to kill the dragons?)
(Yeah, that was mine. Most normal people hate dragons, so it was sort of a prophetic thing. Maybe the village gets razed, and either a. our group is the only known group of survivors, or b. there are more survivors, but they're sent on a quest of some sort. I'm not sure about the final goal. It could be interesting to have some central bad guy/evil society that is perpetrating the thoughts that all dragons are evil, too.)
(Yeah that would be cool, maybe there's one other group of survivors but this evil guy kills them and so our group would be on alert?)
(Sweet. Yes, let's do that. Let's see if anyone else comes on before the drama happens. I'll have Aurelius and Nox go visit the elders.)
((OOC: Well, if you need an evil Dragon Rider, I think I have the perfect character. Also would work with Cain's background))
((OOC: Actually, he wouldn't be a Dragon Rider, he's a Dragon Slayer. Mixed up two of my charries lol. This is him: Eliam Dragonblade))
(Oh, really? That's a great idea!)
(Cool! That be much easier than having an evil character that no one plays haha)
((OOC: I will more than happily bring him in then ^^. I have way too much fun playing evil characters))
(Great! If anyone else wants to make evil characters, I may consider having them be in league with your bad guy)
Aurelius looked at Nox. "You know what? I changed my mind. We're going to go see the elders. Your dream greatly worries me. Come on."
Nox snorted in disbelief. "You really want to?"
Aurelius nodded. "I think it means something. You're rarely wrong in predictions. Besides, what you saw would line up with the unrest we've seen recently. It's definitely a possibility for the near future."
He led the way to the city's main hall.
Dawn lifted Jade onto her back with her snout. Jade exclaimed, "Woah what's up?!"
Dawn responded, ~No time to explain. Just trust me.
Dawn followed after Aurelius and Nox.
Aurelius saw Dawn following him. He didn't say anything. He just looked and kept walking at his brisk pace. He had to tell the elders what was happening.
Charlie saw Aurelius and Dawn heading towards the main building where the elders were seems important he thought. He and Jekyll headed to catch up to them, he needed to report to the elders anyways since he had just gotten back.
(If things work out, and you agree, I'd kind of like to pair up Charlie and Aurelius. I noticed they both like guys (Aurelius is pan, but you get the idea), and they're both ace, and honestly? That's one of the first times one of my ace characters has ever had someone who seemed compatible in that way, so if you wanna ship them later, I'm down.)
Aurelius then saw Charlie out of the corner of his eye as he was opening the door to go visit the elders. He wondered what business he had with them.

(That sounds really cool I love that idea!)
Jade leaned on Dawn, "Why are we following them?"
Dawn snarled, ~Have patience.
Jade barked out a laugh, "Well isn't that ironic."
