(Hoi.)
(Hoi.)
(Hello. How's it going?)
((OOC: I am also around again))
(Cool. I'm trying to decide if that's enough people to start, if all 4 of us are still around. I don't want everyone else to be left behind)
(I don't really know.)
((OOC: Well, I tend to wait for at least two people to post before I post again. A rule I tend to stick to when I do group RPs))
(That's a good rule to go by. I know a lot of the time, one-on-one conversations happen in RPs, and other people get left in the dust)
(True)
((OOC: Yea, 1-1 convo's tend to kill off RP's rather quickly, least in my experience, since most will be left behind while a pair are currently by themselves))
(On a RP I was on everyone left and it was just me and someone else, it was fun)
(One-on-ones are pretty cool if your characters get along well, but if there are more people, there's a lot of 3rd-wheeling. Looks like 4 people besides myself are (maybe?) here now. Want to get started? I'm thinking we start out in a secret village that these dragon people live in.)
((OOC: 1-1's are quite good as well. I have one that I'm doing on a different RP site which I'm quite proud of with my partner.
I am completely fine with starting))
(Alright then. I will start off, I guess, seeing that this is my RP.)
((OOC: Sounds like a plan))
Aurelius threw a dead sheep over into Nox's stall. She let out a grateful noise that anyone not accustomed to dragons would have been terrified of, and she began to eat the animal. As soon as Nox had finished her meal, she begged for Aurelius to come pet her, sticking her face over the gate. He reached up, frail hand stretched out to pat her on the nose. Nox grumbled and snorted, then breathed a little fire- bright blue flames. "Hey! Stop that!" Aurelius cried out, "Getting a little too comfortable over there, my girl!" Nox let out an even lower grumble as apology, and she began to settle down for a nap. "That's right," Aurelius said, "Rest up. You did well in training today. I'll stop by to see you later, pretty girl." He then left the stables alone.
Xavier and Ryul stared deep into each other's eyes, like two fish having a staring contest on dry land. Xavier still had no idea what they were doing, all he knew is that Ryul stopped him in his path and looked deep into his fluffy white soul
The lone figure stood silently on a ledge. Dark brown, nearly black, hair swayed ever so slightly in the blowing wind. A soft rustle sounded as his cape waved in the breeze. Amber eyes stared ahead, looking out over the fields and forests below. It seemed to be calm for the most part.
Slowly he closed his eyes, allowing the breeze to brush against him. Almost as soon as his eyes closed, the visions started dancing across his mind. The sounds, the voices…a past he had buried deep in his mind, but still came back, the shadow that always clung to his soul.
He quickly opened his eyes, the visions stopping. The male seemingly sighed, moving a hand. He reached behind, rubbing the back of his neck for several moments, then returning his arm against his side. The figure's gaze averted downwards from the ledge he stood upon. A massive drop was before him, one that could very well kill him due to the distance.
Yet, without even a second thought, his foot left the ledge, walking right off, plummeting downwards. He fell with increasing speed, the air whipping his cloak and hair back. However, there was no fear whatsoever, for he knew death did not wait for him below.
A sound of thundering wings followed by a giant shadow that blacked out the sun from view suddenly appeared. The massive form swept past the falling man, soon coming to pull up right underneath him. The form, a gigantic, fiery red dragon with gold bronze horns and underbelly. Two pairs of wings beat against the air, easily staying in sky.
As for the man, his body turned, feet coming to touch down on the giant beast's head. He stood where he was, arms moving to cross his chest. The air continued to whip past him, but the male seemed unaffected.
~Your past, it has come to haunt you again, hasn't it~ the powerful voice suddenly rumbled in his mind.
Amber eyes continued to stare straight ahead as he responded to his beast, "It always does…and I despise every moment that forces me to look back…"
The dragon seemingly rumbled softly. His own yellow eyes remained fixated somewhere else as he glided through the sky ~You should not blame yourself Cain. Focus on what is ahead, the future~.
Cain, the rider, sighed under his breath. He knew the red dragon was right, dwelling on the past would give him nothing but pain. His amber eyes looked downwards towards his beast.
"Fair enough…but even you know what I have done, and it will always haunt me."
The giant beast gave a soft snort, smoke rising from his nostrils. His wings tipped to the side, turning in a different direction. The dragon spoke again ~Let us return to the village. They will more than likely wish for a report~.
Cain only gave a slight nod as he continued to stand on the dragon's head. The pair flew through the sky, heading back to the village. Unlike most, Cain and his dragon preferred their solitude, away from the small civilization. However, he served the village, protecting it when called upon, etc.
(^ wow, extremely dramatic and evil.. Good job)
(I love it too!)
((OOC: Thank you ^^))
(And here I am having a staring contest with a dragon)
Aurelius walked out into the village streets, feeling rather exposed. His darkness and ghastliness stood out in a crowd, and he always felt like people were watching. Perhaps they were. Perhaps it wasn't people, but the very spirits that he sometimes spoke with watching his every move. Aurelius walked into the small market to take in the bustle of the tiny town's heart. It was overwhelming to him, but also comforting to watch from a distance. He paced slowly, eyeing the wares at each stall, especially the crafts, such as quilts, pottery, and paintings.
Jade was sleeping, or at least she had been when Dawn decided to light her curtains on fire. She was now desperately trying to put them out, "I get it I overslept! But if the house burns down it's your fault!"
Dawn made a laughing noise, "Shut it!"
(Listen, I sure don't have a pet dragon, but somehow, that feels relatable)
(I know, if you had a pet dragon I'm positive if you overslept the dragon would wake you with lighting something on fire!)
