Eerie finished up the eggs sooner or later and dished them onto a plate. He toasted a few pieces of bread, put butter on them and served them to Levi.
“There you go! Here’s the salt and pepper.” He handed Levi the salt and pepper shakers before sitting down.
"Thank you." Levi nibbled on his eggs, setting the salt and pepper aside. Eggs tasted better when they were plain, at least to him. He ate as much as he could until he felt full and then gently pushed the plate aside. About half of his food had been eaten. "Your eggs were very good."
Eerie had finished his food and was happily looking around. He started slightly when Levi talked and looked over.
“They we- you didn’t finish them all!”
"I'm full." Levi tilted his head, silently asking if that was alright. Did Eerie want him to eat all the eggs? That would be hard. Eating in the mornings was never fun. It made him feel kind of sick some days, so he tended to avoid it when he could. Maybe Eerie would make him build up an immunity to it since he obviously wasn't going to let Levi skip meals.
Eerie gave a forced grin. “Okay. Are you ready to go explore?” Eerie wasn’t sure why he kept using ‘explore’ since he knew the layout of the house, but hey, what’s he gotta say to make it interesting?
"Yes. Let's go." Levi stood up, carefully putting the eggs into a container so he could eat them later. Maybe he'd enjoy them more at lunch. Once his leftovers were safely ensconced in the fridge he went to Eerie's side, ready to find the spa room and do the spa day.
Eerie lead them outside to the back and to a little cellar door. It was a lavish white and had purple knobs. Eerie grabbed the knobs and pulled up with a grunt, revealing a flight of carpeted stairs leading downward. It was bright in the cellar, and it looked warm and inviting.
“You first!” Eerie chimed happily, stepping out of the way.
Levi delved into the room, taking in the new room. It was all white tiled and bright, quite shiny and a little hard to look at. The air felt slightly humid as if the room were full of steam. Eerie had mentioned something about towels and sure enough, when he looked around he found a little closet full of them.
Eerie pointed. “The actual sauna is over there. They must’ve just turned on the heat and left the door open. Anywho, there’s the closet for the towels, and a little bathroom to change and leave your clothes. I’ll change out here, behind the bar.”
"Okay. We go to the sauna first, right?" Levi grabbed a towel from the closet and slung it over his shoulder. He located what he thought was the bathroom door and walked towards it, moving slowly so Eerie could give him an answer.
Eerie shook his head. “That’s the sauna door. The bathroom’s right there.” He pointed a couple doors down. But, ya, after we change, we go into the sauna.” Eerie grinned and grabbed a towel for himself before walking around to behind the bar.
"Okay. Thank you!" Levi felt his cheeks flush a little as he hurried toward the correct door. Even though he didn't have any real reason to be embarrassed- this wasn't his house after all- he was. And he knew it was because he wanted to impress Eerie on some level and that felt weird. Wanting to impress someone felt weird. He shucked off his clothes and tied the towel around his waist, exiting the bathroom and waiting around the sauna door.
Eerie stripped carefully yet quickly and gave a tiny shiver before wrapping and tying the towel around his waist. He kicked his clothes under the bartender’s stool and walked out from under the bar, just as Levi did the same. He smiled a bit, feeling a little shy about his rather pecky legs and skinny, pale chest.
Wow. Eerie was skinny. Was he eating enough? Did he need more food? No, that couldn't be it. Levi barely ate enough and he was muscular. He was lean, sure, but there was definitely muscle there. Muscle that was hidden by scars. They crept down his arms, his hips, his chest. A few long, layered scars formed a nasty patch on his back.
Eerie ran his eyes over Levi’s many scars. He didn’t feel intimidated, instead he felt curious. He wanted to know the story behind them, how Levi had gained his first one and felt the pain of it. Eerie also wanted to trace his fingers on them. Was that weird? Probably.
Levi noticed Eerie looking at his scars. The urge to grab Eerie and make him run his fingers over Levi's scars was so strong it left him a little shaken. Since when had he enjoyed physical touch? Still, if Eerie wanted to, who was Levi to stop him? "You can touch them, if you'd like," He offered shyly, shifting his weight to alleviate any discomfort he felt.
Eerie glanced up and simpered. “Sorry. They just look… cool.” He took a few moments to find the right adjective, but didn’t want to hesitate too long. He really did want to touch them, but he didn’t want to make Levi uncomfortable. He shifted forward, closer to him, though.
Levi tilted his head, a little confused. He didn't lie. When he said something could be done, he would allow it to be done. Eerie shifted a little closer, so he decided to persevere. "There's nothing to apologize for. I don't mind you touching or looking at them." To illustrate, he ran a couple fingers over a bullet wound on his shoulder. Most of the scars couldn't even feel anymore, too much nerve damage for them to function.
Eerie’s gaze trailed back down to Levi’s chest, to watch his demonstration. Before he could think twice, he was very close to Levi. He gingerly reached out and softlg brushed the same bullet scar on Levi’s shoulder. The skin was rough, but not unpleasant to touch. Eerie liked the way his skin tingled as the two totally dofferent skin testures brushed.
Levi's eyes lit up when Eerie touched his scar. He swore he could feel it tingling, even though that was completely ridiculous. That entire shoulder had suffered some pretty hefty damage, so much so that it couldn't feel most days. "See, I'm fine."
Eerie smiled a little and lowered his hands down to his other scars, feeling every one he could find. Soon he let his fingers snake to Levi’s back, bringing the pair closer, where Eerie rose his fingers up the long gash on Levi’s back (if I read right). He liked this scar the most. He wanted to hear it’s story, the pain, and how it got to be so delightfully tough and tingly on Eerie’s fingers.
(Yup! You read right)
Levi arched slightly into the touch. His scars didn't get much gentleness. None of him did. These soft touches were comforting and… they were probably the kindest way he could remember being touched. Everywhere Eerie touched felt warm and sparkled in a way that was undeniably pleasant.
Eerie stepped closer so his lips was inching close to Levi’s neck. He had Levi in a strange embrace, with his arms rather low on Levi’s body as his fingertips traced the largest scar. He ran them up and down, grinning a little into Levi’s neck when he arched his back. Even if it was in discomfort, Eerie couldn’t pull himself away, it was just too good.
Levi leaned in farther and farther to Eerie's arms, humming softly every so often when something that felt particularly nice happened. He could feel Eerie's lips near his neck and he wondered, briefly, if Eerie was going to kiss him. He wanted Eerie to kiss him. Everything felt so good right now that if Eerie told him to dance the polka, he'd probably do it.
Eerie leaned closer to Levi slowly as well, drawing him into a hug with his hands still pressed gently into the scar. He leaned his head on Levi’s and sighed a contented sigh. He could stand there all day, with hus husband in his arms and his hands on his rough scars. He never wanted to stop touching them. It made Eerie feel safe, somehow, and he had a sneaking suspicion Levi liked it too.
