Eerie beamed at the little present and smiled up at Levi. “Thank you! I’ll hang it up… soon!” He kept his arms wrapped carefully around the paper, grinning widely and happily up at Levi.

"Okay." A small grin had spread across Levi's face. Praise was nice. It made him feel weird in a good way. Tingly and warm. He picked up his pencil, ready to start sketching while Eerie was still happy and hugging him. "Can I draw you now?"
Eerie nodded, beaming. “Sure! Go ahead.” His warm smile didn’t waver after he said this. It stayed warm and genuine at Levi’s tiny smile. Levi had such a nice grin.
Levi sketched out a rough outline of Eerie's face, keeping his lines light and loose. The first thing he began to elaborate on was the outf]line of the face and hair. The less important things. He showed the basic sketch to Eerie, showing off his process, in case Eerie wanted to see.
Eerie beamed and nodded encouragingly. “It looks wonderful! Continue!” He relaxed into the bed, still beaming like a happy bean.
Levi pulled Eerie back into his arms, trying to keep the pose consistent for the drawing. He moved onto the eyes, penciling them in with uncharacteristic care. Once he was absolutely certain he had gotten them correct- the eyes were the most important part of the face- he moved on to the smile. The nose. The shading on the cheeks, which he was determined to get right.
Eerie snuggled closer but didn’t move his head. He just smiled idly at Levi, taking in his features. If he could draw, he’d definitely draw his new husband. Just because. But Eerie couldn’t draw to save his life.
Levi focused on the expression, tweaking the eyes, nose, and mouth until it was like he was looking at two Eeries. One colorful and slightly warm against him, one cold and colorless. Once he was finally done, he passed it over to Eerie so he could give his approval or disapproval. "Does this look good? Do you like it?" He might've been fishing for compliments, just a little bit. They made him feel so… liked.
Eerie giggled. “It looks amazing! This time you can’t be disappointed with anything. It’s like I’m looking in a mirror!” Eerie studied it for a bit longer before handing it over.
“Great job!”
Levi was almost blushing from all the praise. Eerie liked what he did. He was good. He could make someone happy. He could make his husband happy. "Keep it. You're the…" He struggled to remember the term. The person who… inspired the art. "Muse! The muse."
Eerie giggled gently, holding the picture close too. “I will keep it. Hopefully I can help you improve more and more! Not that I think you need it.” He smiled happily in response to Levi’s little grin.
(dirty roleplay?)
(Excuse me?)
(please tell me this isn't anything sexual, otherwise I would like to join."
(This is closed. And if we were to do anything sexual, we’d go to PM. I’m sorry I didn’t mention it, but it’s pretty obvious this RP is closed.)
"Thank you. That… means a lot… coming from you." His voice had gotten quieter and quieter as the conversation went on, fading to a raspy wiper at the last part. Praise was so comforting and nice. He almost wanted to drown in it. But that was weak. Weakness was bad. He stiffened up, pushing the want for softness and praise out of his mind.
Eerie twitched when Levi stiffened up. “What’s wrong? Too much praise?” He gazed up at his husband in concern. Maybe Levi just couldn’t accept praise like someone else?
Shit. Why did Eerie have to be so perceptive? What was he, a psychic? Although it wasn't exactly what Levi was thinking, it was close enough to make him uncomfortable. It wasn't the praise, it was the fact that he wanted praise. "Nothing's wrong. Don't worry."
Eerie frowned a little. Mother had warned him about Levi’s war background, since Levi’s father foreclosed it into the initial letter.
“Okay. If you’re sure.” He set his head down again, still looking thoughtful and concerned.
Levi shifted Eerie around a little, moving him so he'd be distracted by the movement and ignore Levi's unwillingness to talk about anything. Did Eerie know about what he did? Probably. His father would've notified Eerie that he was getting damaged goods for a husband instead of a proper prince.
Eerie glanced up and shifted with him. “Sorry. Am I making you uncomfortable?” He tilted his head, gazing up at Levi for answers.
(Another ass response. Sorry.)
(It's good. Sometimes responses are hard.)
"No." Not that I'd ever be able to admit it, he added internally. Being open with Eerie seemed almost impossible. How could he ever spill the inner workings of his head to someone when he couldn't even explain them to himself. "Is there anything you'd like to do today?"
Eerie sighed and leaned his head on Levi’s arm. “Dunno. We could explore the game room. I know we have a spa room and a bar too. We could check those out? Maybe have a spa day?”
"If you'd like that." Levi, while he hated large bodies of water, didn't mind baths as long as he didn't need to put his head under the water. A spa day could be interesting. He might actually enjoy one. Flora was always telling him to take better care of himself, maybe this was a good way to do it?
Eerie grinned. “You wanna go get some breakfast and go down now? Oh! Have you ever had a spa day before? I haven’t. I’ve only seen them in movies and TV shows!” Eerie was trying desperately to get Levi to talk.
