"Desperation," Kenzie whispered, lifting her head to look Hunter in the eyes. "You wouldn't kiss me, so I kissed you."
"Desperation," Kenzie whispered, lifting her head to look Hunter in the eyes. "You wouldn't kiss me, so I kissed you."
Hunter pulled her into another kiss just as she finished talking, completely forgetting about what they were doing. All he could think of was Kenzie, her soft lips, how they felt pressed against his.
Kenzie's eyes widened as Hunter pulled her in again, but they quickly closed as she melted into the kiss. Her hunger was completely forgotten now, replaced by thoughts of Hunter. She pressed her lips harder against his with another quiet moan.
Hunter bit Kenzie's lower lip, feeling like it was okay to take it a bit further. He pulled her towards himself, lifting her off of the counter.
"There," he murmured in between their kiss. "I kissed you."
"Mm-hm," Kenzie acknowledged Hunter's statement simply. Her heart was beating hard after he had bit her lip.
"You know, I could do this all day," Hunter murmured after pulling apart. "But your stomach's getting a little aggressive now."
Kenzie sighed.
"How come your stomach is so much quieter than mine?" she wondered, looking up into Hunter's eyes.
Hunter shrugged.
"Well, considering the fact that you kissed me," he started. "I think it has its fill."
With another sigh, Kenzie leaned into Hunter, hugging him tightly.
Quietly, so that Hunter wouldn't hear her, she muttered into his shirt, "I love you."
"Hm? Did you say something?" Hunter questioned, frowning.
"No, it's nothing," Kenzie said, shaking her head.
"If you say so," Hunter murmured. "So, let's get to making dinner now. For real."
Kenzie nodded and released her hold on Hunter. She grabbed the box of pasta and a pot and set to silently cooking the noodles, her small grin the only sign that her mind was elsewhere.
(Can we skip ahead?)
(Can we skip ahead?)
(Yup!)
Hunter set the plates on the table, pouring the meatballs plus sauce he had made into a container.
"Finally," he muttered. "Food…"
(I gotta go, but I'll be back in a few hours. Bye!)
(I gotta go, but I'll be back in a few hours. Bye!)
(Aw, bye!)
Kenzie grinned at Hunter.
"I think we did pretty good," she declared.
"We did, didn't we?" Hunter grinned. "We had some distractions but…" he trailed off, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"But we finally finished," Kenzie said, giving Hunter a look. "And now we can actually eat. We can continue what we were doing before when we're done with dinner."
Did I really just say that? she thought, blushing. Hunter must be rubbing off on me…

Willow! Stop texting Leo and hang out with everyone else. You've been talking to him for four hours straight!)
(Just so no one's confused, I just took the "Writer" off my username. Everyone just calls me Sorceress, anyway, so I figured, "Eh. May as well.")
(Willow sticks her tongue out
Don't you stick your tongue out at me! … No, I'm not going to put you in again soon. Not if you keep acting this way!)
