(Lol. I believe the next day is Thursday, so Kenzie technically doesn't have class.)
With her eyes still closed, Kenzie mumbled, "Sure." She cracked an eye open to look at Hunter and ask, already blushing at the way it was going to sound, "Do you, uh, have anything more comfortable I can borrow? 'Cause, um, jeans aren't comfortable to sleep in…"
(Oh, right, so Hunter has class. Poor Hunter.)
Hunter got up and stretched.
"Er, I have trousers if you want," he said awkwardly. "But they'll be really big on you. I don't know if it'll be comfortable or not. I could lend you a shirt, too…"

(Lol. Now they're both awkward! XD)
Kenzie bit her lower lip and turned away from Hunter. Standing up, she nodded, still not facing him. The blush on her cheeks was growing deeper by the second.

(so cute omg!)
Hunter rubbed the back of his neck.
"I'll be right back," he muttered before turning around to walk into his room. He got the comfiest shirt and trousers he could find, as well the shortest ones he owned, and walked out.
"There you go," he said, handing Kenzie the clothes, pretending he didn't see her blush. He found it cute, but he couldn't tease her if he himself was awkward.
Looks like she'll have to leave some of her clothes here…
"You take the bathroom," he said. "You can take the one in my room; I'll go set up the guest room for you."
Kenzie quietly thanked Hunter, then hurried off to the bathroom. Of course, Hunter was right: the clothes were too big on her, but at least they were better than what she had been wearing. When she was finished, she came out of the bathroom and found Hunter in the guest room. She stood silently in the doorway, her clothes bundled in her arms and her blush still a deep red on her cheeks.
(They're so awkward! I love it! squeals XD)
Hunter rubbed his head, finding the guest room a little too chilly. It was clean and there wasn't any need for more cleaning, but Hunter was worried that Kenzie might catch a cold. He got out some extra blankets and set them on the table.
Looking back, he saw Kenzie in the doorway, dressed in his clothes.
Hunter felt his throat clogged up. He felt like he couldn't breathe. Seeing her clad in his clothes, cheeks red, made his heart skip a beat.
"Er, the room's ready," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. God, what was wrong with him? He was acting like a twelve-year-old boy!
He's just as flustered as I am! Kenzie noticed. It would be cute if this wasn't so awkward…
Without meeting Hunter's eyes, she quietly muttered a "thank you" and took a step into the room. She set her clothes next to the door, then looked around the room, taking it in.
"This is nice," she stated in a near whisper.
"Thanks," Hunter muttered, walking out of the room, passing Kenzie on his way out. He paused slightly, looking at Kenzie, but quickly turned his attention away knowing he'd end up doing something stupid. "Goodnight, Kenz."
Kenzie gently grabbed Hunter's wrist as he passed her.
"Wait," she started. Then, realizing she really had nothing to say, she simply wrapped her arms around her boyfriend, muttering a soft, "Goodnight."
Hunter smiled, chuckling slightly as he wrapped his arms around her. When they pulled apart, he dipped down and captured her lips in a short, but amazing kiss.
"Told you I always finish what I start," he muttered against her lips before pulling away, grinning, refreshed. "Goodnight, babe."
Kenzie smiled up at Hunter, then released her hold on him. She said another sleepily-quiet, but genuinely happy, "Goodnight" before closing the bedroom door, shutting Hunter out for the night. With a sigh of extreme ecstasy, she collapsed onto the bed, grinning at the ceiling.
Falling asleep was hard for Hunter. He couldn't stop thinking about Kenzie in his house, sleeping in his guest room. Shaking his head, he shifted and changed sides before finally falling asleep.
After grabbing the extra blankets she had noticed on the table and laying them on the bed, Kenzie finally crawled under the sheets and tried to sleep. Her thoughts kept drifting to Hunter, to finally initiating a kiss herself, and to the brief kiss that he'd given her before bed. She rubbed her lips together, closing her eyes. A few minutes later, she was finally asleep, dreaming pleasant dreams of a certain stealer-of-her-heart.
The next morning, Hunter had to get up really early because of his class at six. He noticed Kenzie was still asleep, so he made sure to be quiet so she didn't wake up.
Toasting some bread and spreading butter on it, Hunter grabbed a 'post-it' note and wrote, 'Leftover pasta's in the fridge. You can eat it if you'd like. If not, there's cereal, or you could browse through to make yourself whatever you want.
Love, Hunter.' before posting it on the fridge.
Shrugging his bag over his shoulder, he grabbed his car keys and walked out, locking the door behind him.
Thank God Thursday classes are short. Two hours for Biology, one and a half for Economics, both together. Yay.
(OMG HUNTZIE YASSSS)
(Haha yes xD)
(Whispers to Sorceress we're famous!)
Kenzie woke up the next morning slightly confused about not being in her own bed. The previous night soon came back to her memory, and she smiled through a light blush. She sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, then went to the kitchen.
The note on the fridge grabbed her attention, so she pulled it off and read it quickly. She smiled, then sent Hunter a short text before pouring herself a bowl of cereal.
KENZIE: 'Morning! Have fun at your classes. :D
(OMG HUNTZIE YASSSS)
(Haha yes xD)
(Whispers to Sorceress we're famous! Or rather, Huntzie's famous.)
(Lol. It's pretty great, huh? XD)
(Gonna be gone for a couple of hours. Going to the YMCA w/my fam.)
Hunter dragged himself out of class, exhausted. Thursdays were the days he didn't share anything with Leo. Other than this particular day, he shared his schedule with Leo. Before he could get out of class, however, he was stopped by a girl and a boy knew very well.
"Hunter, wait," the red-haired girl, Mari, said. She wasn't a bad girl or anything, it's just that she was so clingy, it made Hunter want to bail the second he saw her. "We need to ask you something."
Hunter sighed, crossing his arms.
"Yeah?" he asked, his eyes narrowed. "Get on with it, then."
"That girl you were with the other day…" Mari started, trailing off.
"That cute one," the blond boy with her provided.
Mari nodded.
"Are you both going out?"
"So what if we are?" Hunter replied, looking a bit tense.
Mari flinched a little, but then plastered a smile on her face.
"I just wanted to confirm if I still had a chance," she said, her expression dropping. "But I guess I don't. Not anymore."
"Oh, man, you always get the hot ones," the blond boy complained. "You couldn't just let one of us bottom guys have a taste, could you?"
That comment broke the control in Hunter. He grabbed the guy's shirt and slammed him against the wall.
"When you're talking about my girlfriend, watch your mouth," he hissed. "This time I didn't do anything. The next time I hear you barking off shit about her, you'll wish you were never born. Got it?"
Growling, he stalked off, wanting to punch something. Hearing that guy disrespect Kenzie… talking like she was a mere toy infuriated Hunter beyond control. He was glad he had a bit self-control, otherwise, he would have broken that guy's face. Hunter wished he had. He just wanted to get home to Kenzie.
(Here we have a cliche!)
