As Hunter pulled her towards himself, Kenzie's eyes widened and she sucked in a surprised breath. She blushed at his proximity, and her eyes searched his face as he spoke.
When he had finished, she opened and closed her mouth a few times. She felt like she needed to say something, but her voice wouldn't work and she could find no works to speak. Instead, her eyes continued to take in every detail of Hunter's face, down to the most minute spot.
(And now I have to wait until tomorrow…) :(
Hunter looked at Kenzie, his eyes softening, his thumb trailing her cheek. He bumped their foreheads together and then chuckled, shaking his head.
"You should step away," he said, his voice husky.
"What if I don't want to?" she whispered, staring into Hunter's eyes.
"You're stubborn, you know that right?" Hunter murmured, staring into Kenzie's intoxicating eyes, finding himself falling deeper into them with no way out.
Kenzie smirked and mumbled, "Uh-huh. But only when I want to be."
"So you want me to kiss you," Hunter didn't say it like a question; his lips were twisted in a smirk and his voice indicated he was stating something he already knew was true.
The only response Kenzie gave was a slow blink. Her cheeks were flaming bright red at the whole situation, but she ignored it. She ignored that nervous feeling in her chest, instead focusing on the other feeling that was taking up residence: love.
Hunter chuckled, then shook his head, forcing himself to step back.
"As much as I love kissing you, Kenz," he started. "I can't do it if you're nervous or unsure."
"I have been nervous every time you kissed me, Hunter, but never unsure," Kenzie replied. She turned around and opened her car door with a shrug. "But that's okay, I guess. It's getting late, anyway, and we should probably get back home."
Hunter didn't know whether he messed up or not, but Hunter was planning on making up to Kenzie. With his food.
"Yeah, we should get home quickly," he agreed, murmuring as he started to get in his car. "Someone really likes eating my food."
Kenzie smiled and got into her car. She shut the door but rolled her window down, leaning her head out.
"It's not just your food that I like," she teased, starting her car. She rolled her window up and, with a playful wink at Hunter, drove off towards his place.
Hunter first found himself frozen. With a shake of his head, he started his car and drove after Kenzie. That girl was going to be the death of him.
Kenzie's heart beat quickly as she arrived at Hunter's. She was just a few seconds ahead of him, so she leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes. With a smile, she thought about Hunter; his comforting words when she was upset, the way he looked at her that made her feel like butterflies were cartwheeling with joy around her stomach, and just him.
(Knock-knock
Who's there?
Ima

Ima waitin' for a response! XD)
(After 40 mins, this was already halfway down the page…
Also, apparently it's hard to type when you have medical tape on your thumb…)
(And 20 minutes later… I'm just really impatient/bored…
Ignore my obnoxiously impatient posts. ;P)

(I was in P.E, sorry!)
(Lol. It's fine! Like I said, ignore me. :P)
The minute Hunter got out of his car, he pulled Kenzie in his arms and picked her up.
"You cheated," he said, acting like he was offended. "You used your charms on me. This is illegal."
Kenzie flashed Hunter a wide smile. "Would you say then that my charms leave you vulnerable?" she teased him, using his earlier words against him.
