Hunter grinned.
“Look into the mirror and maybe you’ll find out,” he teased. “But seriously— oh, prepare yourself. The upcoming turn is a little… rough.”
Hunter said as he took a turn, the car sliding and hitting deeper bumps in the road.
“That’s just about the end of the rocky road,” Hunter informer Kenzie. “And in five more minutes until we reach the cabin.”
Kenzie snorted at Hunter's teasing and turned back to the window to stare out of it. She hummed in response to his update on how long it would take to get there.
Finally, Hunter parked his car and killed the engine.
“And we’re here,” he said to Kenzie as he got out of his car. He hoped Leo and the others finished, but he remembered to text him before they left Jacob’s. They should be done by now.

"Wow…" McKenzie breathed as she looked at the cabin. It was larger than any other cabin she had been to, and it was gorgeous! "You seriously know how to pick a cabin."

Hunter grinned.
“I also have a few others,” he admitted. “Maybe I’ll take you to all of them. But anyway, we should get inside now.”
Hunter lead Kenzie to the front door, and the minute he opened the door and ushered Kenzie inside, confetti being popped was heard along with a very loud cheer of ‘surprise!’ Well, as loud as it could have been, considering it was only Leo and Willow.

Kenzie stood in the entryway, her mouth hanging open slightly at the sight of her friends. She slowly turned to Hunter, tears filling her eyes.
"You planned this for me?" she asked quietly, wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face in it. "Thank you."

Hunter grinned before hugging Kenzie back.
“I told you before that I’d do anything to make you happy.” He said, grinning as he kissed her head.
“Group hug!” Before Hunter knew it, Leo threw himself on them and joined the hug that was not meant for him.

Kenzie laughed as Willow joined in as well.
"Thanks, guys. You're awesome," she said when they had all pulled apart.
Willow smiled at her. "Anything for you, girl."

Hunter opened his mouth to thank Leo and Willow for their help when he noticed how close they stood next to each other. Hunter blinked, thinking nothing of it as he closed the door behind him.
“We’re always with you, Kenz,” Hunter said to Kenzie as he kissed her neck softly. “If you’re sad, we’ll cheer you up.”
“That’s right!” Leo piped up, throwing an arm around Kenzie, effectively hitting Hunter in the face. Hunter glared at him, and Leo stuck his tongue out in return. “We’re your friends and we’ll always be there for you. Right, Will? Actually, that’s pretty obvious since you’re her best friend, but whatever.”

Kenzie blushed slightly when Hunter kissed her neck, but she smiled up at him nonetheless. She rolled her eyes at Leo and pushed him toward Willow.
"Go hug her, she's your girlfriend," she joked, laughing. "And of course Hunter's my best friend." She looked back up at him, her eyes and smile soft.
(Leo was talking about Willow but okay. XD he nicknamed her ‘Will.’)
Leo’s cheeks turned pink at Kenzie’s light joke, but it went away the minute it came. He shot Willow a suggestive look.
“Hear that? They think we’re dating,” he said as he snaked an arm around Willow’s shoulders, making Hunter roll his eyes. “Why don’t we make that a reality?”
(Oops…)
Willow rolled her eyes. "Yes, why don't we? Hm… Maybe that's because you haven't asked me, yet?"
Kenzie snickered, leaning into Hunter as she watched the pair with amusement.
“Aw, you were waiting for me to ask you out?” Leo grinned. “That’s so cute. Does that mean you like me, Will?”
Hunter rolled his eyes at the couple, but smiled when he felt Kenzie lean into him.
"Yes, I was. I'm not the type of girl to ask the guy out. I'll leave that to you," Willow declared as she looked at him, almost expectantly. "And if you haven't figured that out, yet, then I've given you way too much credit."
Kenzie continued to watch, an amused smile on her face.

Leo tried to frown, but failed as a smile took over his lips.
“Aw, man, I was hoping to ask you out somewhere nice,” he said, casting an eye on an amused Huntzie. “Somewhere Huntzie was not present.”
Hunter raised his hands, shrugging.
“Your call, man,” he said. “I’ll take my girl to the food. I promised her pizza.”

Willow glared at Kenzie for a moment before turning back to Leo. "I mean, I'm cool with however you choose to ask. Unless it has to do with heights, deep water, and/or dirt."
