Zack walked down the hall, hands busy working on knotting a monkey fist with the rope he'd borrowed, when he spotted Ms. Hawkins approaching her room. He whistled to Vix, his fox, ordering her to stay calm and behave.
Hollering her name, he jogged to her just as another girl from his chemistry class jogged up. He backed up, waiting for her to talk to Ms. Hawkins first. He had wanted to discuss a new series of reactions he had hypothesized would result in substances that could amplify powers, and knew that the talk would be a lengthy one. Thus was his courtesy to let the girl, whose name he could't remember for the life of him, go first.
(Whoops. it works out I guess.)
(I brb, I have dinner. If someone wants to the research and pretend to be Ms. Hawkins- go for it! See ya later.)
//hi also that was a question I asked with Emily and Alex once, we never figured it out
Emma pointed at the different pieces of glass. "Fuse," she said, while someone (Flora or Aidan?) used their power to put the fires out.
Aislinn lifted some of the glass and left it all in a neat little pile for Emma.
Emma gave her a grateful smile. "Thanks so much, Aislinn,"
(@ScarletAndHerSides Does anything particular happen? I didn't think that such a thing was readily possible.)
(@ShadowMisfit, why wouldn’t it be readily possible?
@Demiphoenix1125 good morning.)
(It's hard to get all of the elements to the same place without them reacting with various effects before hand. Anyway I looked it up, and it really just depends upon the amount of each element. If you have like, a chunk of each? You have a bit of an explosion, then radioactive dust.)
(Well obviously. :p So it’s very much possible.)
“Well it would depend, how much I’d every element would you have?” Ms. Hawkins asked.
After Ruby gave her answer, Ms. Hawkins began rambling on and on.
Aidan reluctantly helped Emma clean up, knowing that if a teacher came in he'd get in trouble as well. He casually conjured a broom and dust pan, even though there was one in the corner of the room.
As Ms. Hawkins was rambling, Ruby became aware that there was another guy waiting. She decided she wouldn’t ask another question and let the him ask his. Ms. Hawkins continued on rambling.
Tapping his foot impatiently, Zack began to pet Vix and looked suspiciously at the girl who had questioned Ms. Hawkins. This felt kind of off, anyone could figure this out with enough resources, and it seemed rather pointless. It wasn't going anywhere. Slowly, he walked past the girl towards the chem lab, keeping an eye out for any reaction.
Ruby saw that the boy had left but Ms. Hawkinsnwas still rambling. The conversation somehow turned her eloping with her husband. Ruby politely smiled and nodded.
Emma pointed to the water and fire. "Fuse!" she commanded, expecting the fire to be put out. Instead, the fire turned into water. However, it was still in the shape of flames. "Wow. I did not think that that would happen,"
Ruby wanted Emma to hurry up with the cleaning, Ms. Hawkins was now telling how life story. Ruby wanted to know how asking a really dumb question connected to her life.
Aidan conjured his camera from his room and took a picture of the fire-water. "Cool." He shoved the camera in his bag. Ugh…I wish I could make objects disappear…
When she didn't react, Zack loosened a little. Maybe he was just being a little too nosy. But there had been word on the wind that some people were… scheming. He had been determined since then to keep an eye out, and work on his own preparations. If hell broke out, he would be set.
Vix breaking her at a run shook him from these thoughts. She stood by the door to the Chem Lab, clawing at the door.
Ruby patiently nodded, she would scold Emma later.
Emma whipped her head around towards the direction of the door, where she could hear a scratching sound. "What is that?" she whispered, making the water flames disappear. She looked around. Most of the debris had been cleared, but there was still a lot of work to be done. Pushing a table to the door, she pointed at it. "Fuse,"
“Wow, how sweet.” Ruby said, with fake sweetness. Ms. Hawkins grinned and continued talking about her life as a teacher.
