"Or, you could use a less narrow beaker."
"Or, you could use a less narrow beaker."
"Thank you so much! What's your name?" Emma asked. "And yeah… maybe we can reconduct the experiment later and try and recreate the exact same conditions?"
(Emma is asking who?)
Emma paused, and laughed. "That too! Are you an Ileyitome? I can't believe I've never seen you around before," (Ileyitomes' are so focused on complicated situations that they can't see the solution right in front of them. That's one of their flaws)
(She asked 'what's your name' to Thatcher, and said the second sentence to Ruby)

(Okie dokie artichokie.)
(alright now I have to go)
(Byeeee!)
“Thatcher,” he responded, brushing ash onto his dark pants and off of his hands. He crouched and began collecting shards of glass in his palm.
Ruby looked around the room, “You got salt almost everywhere.”
"Yes, I recognize that, and I'm going to fix it," Emma said frostily. She held out a hand. "Salt, fuse,"
Ruby sighed, “I’m going to see if Ms. Hawkins is near.”
"Please don't," Emma said. "I'll get in detention for a week!"
“…as in making sure she doesn’t see this mess? Seriously? You think I would snitch on my best friend? I’m offended.”
Emma smiled gratefully. "You, Ruby, are a true friend,"
Ruby winked and left the room/lab.
Flora said softly, "A teacher's coming…."
"Oh, shit! Seriously?! Thanks for the warning, Flora!" Emma frantically pointed at the door. "Fuse!"
“Ms. Hawkins is coming, but don’t worry! I’m a really good student in their eyes, I’m going to ask a really difficult chemistry question. I’ll stall for you! You better hurry!” Ruby said, popping her head from the door and left.
(Wait if Emma fused the door to the wall how did Ruby get her head through)
(… I didn’t see it. ;u;)
(Nah, it's fine. How about that happened after Ruby came in)
(Yo guys ran off into the stars without me… Welp. Do I join in now or…)
(sure!)
(You can help Ruby stall Ms. Hawkins.)
“Hey Ms. Hawkins, what happens when you combine all the elements of the periodic table together?” Ruby asked sweetly, like she was genuinely curious of the answer.
