"Wait… so if you're in Kemad, that means Flora is with you! Do you guys know each other? What's it like, being in Kemad?" Emma asked, having interpreted Aidan's silence as a yes.

(Sure.)

Thatcher slips into the classroom, brushing a bit of fur from his dark pants and dirt from his hands. He was sure his hair looked a mess, as he had been out in the woods jogging all morning with his hound.

He shook his head. "Nope. Yuqad. Good guess though." Aidan looked at her. "Let me guess…Ileyitome?"
(there fixed)

“I heard an explosion.” Ruby declared, entering the room as dramatically possible.

Aidan took out a small ballpoint pen from his pocket and began to shade the drawing on his hand. Wish I had a green pen…

Thatchers eyebrows were raised in surprise. This was definetly not the right class. He looked around at the mayhem and smiled slightly. “What exactly did happen here, then?”

Emma gestured to the mess of chemicals, peeling some salt off of her skirt. "Of course not, why in the world would you think that?" It was hard to judge from her deadpan expression whether she was being serious or not. "Hello, Ruby,"

Thatchers eyebrows were raised in surprise. This was definetly not the right class. He looked around at the mayhem and smiled slightly. “What exactly did happen here, then?”

"A lab experiment gone awry," Emma responded. "Unless it's too much to ask, can you guys help me clean it up before Ms. Hawkins comes?"

“This is why people do it in a glass flask.”

Aidan looked up at the two strangers who had walked in. He smiled before looking back at his hand. Oh, wait! I have powers, duh!" He opened the palm of his other hand and conjured the green pen from his room back at home. Perfect. Aidan began to color the ivy.

"The glass flask exploded," Emma said dryly, one hand pointing to a piece of glass on the floor, and the other to a different one. "Fuse," The glass flew back together, but it only formed a tiny piece of the former beaker. She sighed. "This is going to take a while,"

“It’s not supposed to.” Ruby stated, “It’s really not supposed to. I’ve seen it twice and done it twice, the flask should not have exploded.”

Emma frowned. "Wait, you're right. I wonder what went wrong… Maybe too much sulferic acid? Or that beaker wasn't fully glass?"

Aidan chuckled. Nerds… He smiled to himself as he continued to draw on his hand.

“No, I’d be happy to help,” Thatcher said, giving a polite smile. He walked over to one of the smaller fires, pressing his hand against it for a moment, and it was put out. He didn’t suffer from any burns from touching his hand to an open flame. He wasn’t sure what he was to be exact, but he knew he could handle a scythe well and that fire barely irritated his skin.

“Perhaps.” Ruby said, “Now that’s another science experiment we should really do. I’m curious.”

Wow…I think I'm the only person here that doesn't care about the experiment. Aidan shook his head.

"Thank you so much! What's your name?" Emma asked. "And yeah… maybe we can reconduct the experiment later and try and recreate the exact same conditions?"
