Liam sighed a little, "I don't think I'm going to win on this so okay, you're welcome precious."
Liam sighed a little, "I don't think I'm going to win on this so okay, you're welcome precious."
Kasey smiled softly, blushing when he called her precious. “Good,” she murmured before taking another bite of cheesecake. “I wasn't going to give up.”
Liam chuckled softly, "I know you weren't. Which was why I let you win."
“Then you know me well,” Kasey said with a slight laugh, reaching for another piece of cheesecake. “This is seriously so good. You should make this more often. I can help next time!”
"Sounds like a date," Liam smiled at her and sighed contently, "We should do this more often, it's nice to just relax."
Kasey hummed, nodding her agreement. “It is, yeah. This has been fun, Liam.”
"Well I'm glad you had fun, that was the intention." Liam replied, leaning back in his chair.
Kasey smiled at him and finally set her fork down. “I think I’m finally full, too. Was this the last stop on your adventure for us?”
"Sadly it was but," Liam bit his lip, reaching into a small bag under the table, "I have something for you."
“You do? Liam, you already did a lot today… What more could you possibly have for me?” Kasey asked with a soft laugh, tilting her head to the side curiously.
Liam pulled out a rectangular shaped box. A deep red with a simple gold ribbon around it to keep it together, "Guess you're gonna have to open it."
Kasey blinked, reaching out to take it. The box itself was so beautiful… He had really decided to spoil her today, hadn’t he?
“Okay,” she whispered, pulling the ribbon away to open the box.
The necklace was delicate silver. The pendant looped round the chain in a small oval, only to cross over itself in one place with a line of small, silver gems before continuing into a larger oval. Inside that, was a beautiful, bright blue gem.
“Liam… Holy— Liam, wow. This is so— wow,” Kasey breathed as she pulled it out to look at it. She glanced back up at him, blinking away tears. “This is so beautiful… Thank you…”
Liam smiled sheepishly, rubbing at the back of his neck, "You're welcome. I… I take it you like it then?"
“I love it. It’s beautiful, Liam…” Kasey glanced up at him, a bit shyly. “Will you put it on me?”
Liam's smile grew a fraction and he nodded, "Of course." He stood, heading around to Kasey and gently taking the necklace from her.
Kasey shifted in the seat so her back was to Liam. She then moved her hair around, making it easier for him to put it on her.
“Thank you…”
"You're welcome." Liam placed the necklace around her, clasping it up before kissing her cheek.
Kasey’s own smile grew at the kiss to her cheek, and she grinned up at him. “How does it look?”
Liam smiled back at her, "You look beautiful. As always precious."
The blush was back when he called her precious again. She reached for his hand, linking their fingers together.
“I meant the necklace on me… Thank you,” she murmured softly.
"The point still stands," Liam replied, giving her hand a squeeze, "You do look beautiful, with or without the necklace."
Kasey’s smiled widened slightly, even as her blush deepened. “Thanks. And you look handsome, Liam.”
Liam chuckled lightly, "Thanks baby, but you look way better then me."
