Liam shrugged, still not quite believing it, "I'm not as busy as you though, but okay, if you say so babe."
Liam shrugged, still not quite believing it, "I'm not as busy as you though, but okay, if you say so babe."
Kasey smiled over at him softly. “It doesn’t matter how busy you are. I love you, and I want to do something nice for you, too.”
Liam's features softened a little, "Okay, Kasey. I love you too." He reached over and placed one hand on her thigh, giving her a smile.
Kasey set her hand on top of Liam’s, giving it a gentle squeeze. She leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes, smiling contentedly with Liam’s hand in hers.
It didn't take long and soon they were back at the apartment block, Liam pulling into his car park. He kissed Kasey's cheek before climbing out.
Kasey felt the car coming to a stop and opened her eyes right before Liam leaned over. She grinned a little before climbing out after him, then offering her hand when she reached him.
“Let’s go watch movies and cuddle with Ginger.”
"Sounds good." Liam smiled, taking her hand and giving it a squeeze. He swung it back and forth a little as they walked back up to the apartment, Liam taking out his keys once they got there and opened the door.
The two were almost immediately met with the sight of their cats.
(Well, fudge, she has a new kitten, doesn’t she?)
Kasey knelt down, having to let go of Liam’s hand to do so, and picked her kitten up. She kissed Quake’s nose, then reached over to pet the other cat’s head.
“Hi, babies,” she murmured, burying her face in her kitten’s fur.
(Ye ye, lil Quake)
Liam smiled at the two of them, petting Mortem on the head a moment later, "Hey asshole." He mumbled, taking the cake from Kasey and bringing inside to place it on the counter.
Kasey ruffled Mortem’s and kissed Quake’s head one last time before setting the kitten down. She opened the fridge door for Liam so he could put the cheesecake inside.
“Should we do popcorn?”
Liam shrugged, finding a free space in the fridge to place the half eaten cake, “Your choice babe. Again, it is your night after all.”
Kasey chuckled softly and closed the fridge. “Okay, popcorn it is. Just a little bowl, though, because I’m still pretty full from dinner and dessert.”
"All right then baby. Do you want a drink of anything?" He grabbed a couple glasses out of the cupboard, pouring a glass of water for himself.
“Water is fine for me,” Kasey said as she started to look for the popcorn. “Hey, where do we keep the popcorn?”
"In the cupboard next to the fridge." Liam replied, nodding over to said cupboard before pouring Kasey's drink.
“Thanks.” Kasey turned today open the cupboard, then grabbed out a bag of popcorn. She took the plastic wrapper off the bag, then stuck it in the microwave.
Liam hummed softly, walking up behind Kasey and wrapping his arms around her middle, "I love you."
Kasey smiled at the feeling of arms wrapping around her. She leaned back into his embrace, closing her eyes contentedly.
“I love you, too,” she murmured softly.
"I love you more." He placed his chin on her shoulder, smiling softly.
“I love you most,” Kasey countered, turning to nuzzle his cheek when he rested his chin on her shoulder.
Liam's smile grew, kissing her cheek, "I love you way way way more precious, and that's a fact."
Kasey’s smile widened. “All right, fine. You win,” she have you with a soft giggle.
Liam grinned, “Yesss, I knew it. I wiiiiin.”
Kasey giggled again and turned around to face him. She pecked him softly on the lips, shaking her head. “You’re such a goofball.”
"Yeah well you love me so I don't see how that's a problem." He winked, kissing her on the nose before both of her cheeks.
