Liam leaned into her hand slightly while Kyle nodded, "Okay, gotcha."
Liam leaned into her hand slightly while Kyle nodded, "Okay, gotcha."
“I can direct you there if you need me to. Otherwise, I can give you the address or out it into my phone for the gps,” Kasey offered, glancing back down at Liam and rubbing gentle circles into the soft skin of his cheek.
"Gps would be great, that way you can focus on Liam and not be preoccupied." Kyle responded and Liam, despite himself, huffed a laugh.
"I'm… fine…"
"Hate to break it to you mate, but you really aren't."
“You’re not fine, Liam,” Kasey agreed softly with Kyle. She grabbed her phone and pulled up the address of Madeline’s place before handing it up to Kyle. “There. It’ll take you straight there.”
"Thanks so much." Kyle replied, taking the phone from her easily.
"What's a little blood, right?" Liam muttered.
"A little blood is nothing," Kasey murmured, drawing her attention back to Liam. "But this is not a little blood, Liam…"
"Y-Yeah it is," Liam made a move to sit up but ended up giving up a second later, "I'm fine…"
Kasey gave him a sad look before sighing and shaking her head. “You’re not fine, Liam. You’ve lost a lot of blood. It’s a miracle that you haven’t passed out yet.”
Liam huffed a laugh, “Don’t jinx me babe…” He muttered.
"Don't pass out on me, then," Kasey managed to tease him, giving him a half smile.
Liam smiled up at her, even though his eyes were still closed, “I’m trying my best here.”
"Good," Kasey murmured before glancing up at their surroundings. "Oh, we're almost there."
"Great…" Liam breathed, shifting slightly into a more comfortable position.
A few quiet minutes later, they pulled up to the building Kasey had been taken to not long ago when she’d over-exerted herself and needed help.
“Kyle, can you carry Liam? I’ll go get Madeline,” she said, looking up at the man.
Kyle nodded, putting the car in park, "Of course, you okay with that, Liam?…. Liam?"
Liam didn't reply, couldn't reply as he had finally passed out due to blood loss.
Kasey cast wide, worried eyes on her boyfriend before turning them to Kyle. “Hurry. Pick him up and hurry,” she breathed.
Kyle did as told, picking Liam up bridal style, “Go get your friend.”
Kasey nodded and practically ran into the building, startling the doctor, who seemed to just be cleaning up to leave. He looked up at her boyfriend’s younger sister, eyes wide in surprise.
“Kasey? What’s going on? What are you doing here?” Madeline wondered, stopping what she was doing to make her way over. “It’s not Harper, is it?”
“No. No, Madeline, it’s Liam. He needs help. He’s lost a lot of blood,” the younger heroine breathed, casting a glance toward the door. “He needs help, and fast.”
Kyle came in with Liam then, glancing between the three of them with a worried look.
Madeline nearly winced at the sight of the journalist. “Right. I can help with that. Bring him into this room over here, quickly,” she said, already making her way over to a clean room and clearing it it for them.
Kyle quickly followed the doctor, praying that she’d be able to help Liam. He placed Liam down gently when he was able too, brows furrowed.
"All right, do either of you know what blood type he is? Then I can give him a transfusion when I've stitched these wounds up," Madeline explained as she washed her hands and pulled gloves on. She glanced her at Kasey, who shook her head, and then to Kyle.
Kyle also shook his head, his frown deepening even more.
"Wonderful…. Just wonderful," Madeline breathed. "Well, I know how to make due, but I try not to use it. You two should leave the room. I don't want you freaking out if he wakes up on the middle of this."
“What exactly are you going to do?” Kyle asked, raising a brow as he looked from Liam to Madeline.
