Liam let out a huffed laugh, "I'm still here…" He muttered, though his eyes were closed now.
Liam let out a huffed laugh, "I'm still here…" He muttered, though his eyes were closed now.
"Yeah, barely… Just stay here, would you?" Kasey said as she began to work on her other hand
"I'm trying, sunshine." Every breath he took hurt like hell. He felt disgusting and tired.
Kyle was also working on freezing his restraints off. It was taking a while but he got one off eventually, "That man is sick…" He muttered.
Kasey finally freed her other arm and started to work on the restraints around her waist. “I’m almost there… I’ll untie tut as soon as I’m out.”
Liam hummed his acknowledgement but couldn't form a worded reply.
After a moment, Kasey used the sword from earlier to cut her legs free. Now she just had to finish untying her waist so she could go help Liam…
“Got it!” she exclaimed before practically falling out of the restraints. She hurried over to Liam and started to untie him, her hands shaking and her eyes unable to meet his gaze. “I’m sorry I got you into this mess…”
Liam cracked a crooked smile, "It wasn't your fault, sunshine. Please stop blaming yourself."
Kasey sighed shakily and finally looked up at him. She pressed a quick kiss to his forehead, the continued to untie him.
"It feels like my fault," she mumbled.
"It's not. It's Matt's fault." Kyle said, rubbing at his wrists as he walked up to Kasey to help her untie Liam.
"Yeah… what he said…"
Kasey finished untying one of his wrists and moved to work on the knot around his waist. “I want to kill him…” she muttered under her breath, her breathing shaky.
"Well, killing him is going to have to wait, Kasey, as if we don't get him to a hospital soon then he won't make it." Kyle sighed through his nose.
"I'm working on it, okay?" Kasey practically snapped, getting his waist untied. She dropped down to his feet and began to untie them next. "Liam… Stay awake for me, okay?"
Liam huffed a little, "I'm trying, sunshine, believe me."
"I know. I just… need to make sure you're still awake sometimes," Kasey murmured. A moment later, she untied his feet and stood. "Was that all of the ropes? C'mon, let's get out of here."
Kyle nodded, wrapping an arm around Liam's waist. He made sure to be careful as to not hurt him more. Liam was basically leaning all his weight onto the other male, "Let's be quick, Matt could come back at any second…" Kyle muttered.
Kasey nodded once, tearing her eyes off of Liam for a moment to look around the room. She spotted a door and gestured toward it. "Let's try this way. Hopefully it leads outside."
Kyle nodded, getting a better grip on Liam as the three headed towards the exist. The door opened up into a long corridor. One side looked like a dead end.
“Awesome… That’s just awesome…” Kasey muttered. “That looks like a dead end.”
Kyle nodded to the other side, "That way looks like a start."
Kasey hummed, nodding slowly. "Let's go, then. It's not like things can get any worse…"
"If you say stuff like that you'll jinx us." Kyle replied, starting off down the hall.
Kasey hummed in acknowledgment as she followed. As long as they weren't found, they would be fine. She had to believe that…
Luckily, no one came down the hallway. Kyle pushed open the door at the end with his foot, only to reveal a set of more corridors.
Kasey sighed and looked over at the guys. “I think we should go straight. That way we’re less likely to get lost if we have to backtrack.”
Kyle nodded and hummed his agreement, "The logical solution, good idea."
