(That sounds interesting! Would you be he hero or should I?)
(I have a hero character I can use, if that’s okay)
(Yeah, totally! Do you want to post a small description?)
(Sure, one sec, it’s kinda long)
Name: Kyle ‘Kai’ Rurrow
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Appearance: tall and well built, muscular from excessive training but like… not ripped if you know why I mean. On the paler side and has a slight tan in the summer months, soft and shortish black hair that is always messy and looks like he has constantly run his hand through it from agitation, dull blue, icey eyes.
Personality: Level headed, loyal to the few he cares about. Will be kind to those who deserve it, mainly kids, the poor and other innocents. He is a hard working student studying forensic science. He isn’t introverted but he isn’t extroverted either. He is kind and caring unless he dislikes you. Hates the rich and the snobbish. Can fight and will fight is he needs too. Hot headed at times, perfectionist, intelligent.
Powers: Can control/create ice and snow- Elsa but in male form pretty much.
Background: Kyle was abandoned on the streets as a young child, given off to a homeless Cuban woman when he was about three years old (He ended up learning how to speak both Spanish and English because of her background) His parents already had two older children, teenagers, and they didn’t want another child so they dropped him. They were very rich and snobbish from what Kyle learnt about them in later years.
He took to learning an education from studying in the local library for many years before he eventually got a job. The woman who was looking after him died when he was about 10 and he lived on the streets for another five years before he was put into foster care. He went to school and was surprisingly more intelligent then a lot of kids there. He was a subject of bullying and harassment, he also developed depression, anxiety and took to self harm during these final years at school. Has tried to commit suicide twice.
(He looks great! Do you want to start or should I?)
(Can you? I'm kinda brain dead rn)
(Oof. Sure.)
Kasey got a blip on her phone, and she glanced down at it. She sighed and glanced over at Liam with an apologetic expression.
“I’ve got to go… There’s a situation on Thorn and eighth,” she sighed as she stood.
Liam smiled a little, "It's fine, babe. Go do your thing." He kissed her cheek, "Go."
Meanwhile…
Kyle frowned, arms crossed as he leaned against the wall in a nearby alleyway. A prisoner had just been broken out, he new it was the guy Kinesie put there, he'd watched the whole thing and now somehow the guy was out. Sighing, he peeled himself off the wall, suit already forming. He knew he was the new hero here, but he wanted something to do so he'd go after this guy.
Kasey smiled and pecked him on the lips quickly. “Thanks. I’m sure it’ll be on the news, and you might want to follow me out a bit later to cover it for the paper. I’ll grab my suit and go, then you can follow maybe ten minutes later,” she suggested, making her way to the bedroom, where she had stored her suit under the bed. She pulled it out, gave Liam one last smile, and walked out the door.
Once she was close enough to the scene that she could get there easily, but not so close that it would be suspicious for Kinesie to show up, she found an abandoned alleyway and quickly changed. Once her outfit and mask were on, she hurried toward the intersection where the incident had happened or was happening.
Matt and his brutes had stolen multiple cars, hostages and then found themselves in a car accident. Police surrounded the area but couldn’t do much as Matt and his men held weapons to all the hostages.
Kyle was perched on a now frosted street lamp, his white and blue suit standing out against his mess of black hair. He loooed down at the scene with a frown, twirling a snowflake through his fingers, thinking.
Kasey chewed on her lip as she watched the scene from a nearby alleyway. Some pebbles and other small objects floated around her, a whirlwind around her feet.
It was Matt again… How had he gotten out of prison? She had just gotten him in there, and now he was out? After what he did to Liam, she hated him, and that she could say without feeling bad about it.
One of the hostages, struggled against the smaller man who was holding her, eventually breaking free from his hold and making a run for it. As soon as she was about half way out, one of the other men pulled out a gun and Kyle was in action in an instant. He jumped, using his ice as a slide before he jumped again and landed in front of the girl, managing to put up a wall of ice before a shower of bullets hit the cold substance.
Kasey’s jaw dropped as she saw the new hero. Who was this? She hadn’t yet worked with him…
Shaking her head, she finally made her way out, pebbles and other small, miscellaneous objects floating around her feet and her fingers.
“I thought I put you in jail,” she called to Matt as she stepped out. “Didn’t you know you’re supposed to stay there?”
Matt chucked and clasped his hands behind his back, "I do know, my dear. But it doesn't mean I actually like the idea." He motioned for the man to stop shooting, which he promptly did.
Kyle made sure the girl was safe behind the police before he stepped out, arms crossed.
"What I don't know, is who that," He pointed to Kyle, "Is."
Kinesie’s gaze flickered toward the new man before turning back to Matt. She didn’t want to take her eyes off of him for any longer than she had too. She didn’t trust him farther than her shadow drifted at midnight on a night full of clouds… In other words, not at all.
“I don’t either, but that’s not what I’m worried about right now. Is there a reason behind all of this mess?” she questioned, glancing around to gauge how much damage had been done. She always kept one eye on him, though.
"Well, I was minding my own business in prison when my men came and rescued me. Though, as we were escaping, there was already police by out car so, we stole some, hence the hostages. And some idiots weren't looking where they were going while driving, hence the car accident." Matt shrugged a shoulder as if it was obvious.
Kinesie sighed and rubbed her face. This man… Why? What the heck was his deal?
“That… is incredibly stupid,” she muttered. “Why don’t we just solve this the easy way, hm? Just go with the police and we’ll be done.”
"Because, my dear, they'll be no one to you to give you a hard time. And follow through with my plans as all my men are as dumb as bricks," He sighed, "And it's fun torturing your boyfriend, I'd love to do it again, maybe this time he'll actually die."
Kasey’s face turned bright red as she heard his words. Her fists clenched and unclenched, the whirlwind of pebbles and other miscellaneous items around her growing.
“Shut up… You cannot talk about him,” she growled, her eyes narrowing at him. “You’d better be glad he didn’t die because I don’t think you would have lasted much longer…”
"Kinesie, your emotions are clouding your judgment, calm down, your only giving him what he wants." Kyle finally said, though he didn't take his eyes of this Matt guy.
Matt just chuckled darkly, "Oh I can talk about him. I can do what I want. And you're not a killer, you don't have it in you to kill a person so threatening me with death doesn't scare me."
Kinesie took a deep breath, her nostrils flaring as she glared at Matt. The new guy was right, she couldn’t let her emotions cloud her judgement. That wouldn’t do well for this line of work.
“I’m going to take you down, Matt, and there’s going to be a day when you stay in jail for good,” she declared.
Matt smiled, "I look forward to that day. But for now, either let us go, or the rest of the civilians here die. Your call."
“Mm… Not gonna happen,” Kinesie said, sending things to surround Matt. “Why don’t you let these people go, and we can have a nice chat with the police?”
"You and I both know that's not going to happen, sweetheart," He smiled innocently, one that shouldn't belong to someone like him, "Why don't we add something else to the mix. Is Liam here? He should be, anyway. Let's have someone find him."
he snapped his fingers once, and in a flash, one of the men was typing something on some phone before he promptly put it away. A few minutes later, there was a shout and two men came through, holding a struggling Liam, "Let me go you assholes!"
"There he is!" Matt clapped, "Welcome back!"
"Stop playing games Matt! Seriously, it's getting boring." Kyle called out.
