Kasey hummed and nodded slowly. "Right… That's good, I guess. Except it had all your music on it," she remembered, looking up at him worriedly. "And your journaling."
Kasey hummed and nodded slowly. "Right… That's good, I guess. Except it had all your music on it," she remembered, looking up at him worriedly. "And your journaling."
"Luckily, I'm smart and back everything up," Liam smiled, "It's not gone forever, I still have most if it."
"Oh, good…" Kasey sighed in relief. "Well, I'm glad not too much was lost. Will insurance pay for you to get a new laptop?"
"Hopefully, if not I'll just buy a new one." Liam shrugged.
Kasey hummed and reached up to place a soft kiss to his lips. “We’ll get this figured out… I know we will.”
"Me too," Liam smiled softly at her before he noticed a broken picture in the corner, "Damn, this guy liked to break things." He muttered.
Kasey pulled away to look around again. “Why would be only take your computer, though? That’s just odd…”
Liam shrugged and went and picked up the picture, "I don't know, but I agree."
(Wanna skip to after the police come?)
(Sure thing)
Kasey sighed and picked up another thing from the floor, pushing it toward its correct place with her powers. “I still can’t believe this happened…”
"I know. But it did and there's nothing we can do to change it." Liam shrugged and cleaned up the glass on the floor.
“I know… So we’re sure whoever did this didn’t take anything else?” Kasey wondered, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. “Anything you know of that’s on your laptop that they might have wanted to steal it for?”
"Well, I can't see anything of value that's been taken," Liam shrugged, "And no, I can't think of anything on my laptop that people might want."
Kasey sighed and shook her head again. "I just don't understand…"
"Me neither, but then again we aren't thieves." He threw the glass in the bin.
“Of course not…” Kasey sighed, sending something else to its correct place. She knew she probably shouldn’t be using her powers so much, but maybe the headaches would go away if she just practiced a little each day…
Liam looked over his shoulder and smiled, "I still don't think I'm used to you using your powers so causally."
Kasey glanced over and returned the smile with a small one of her own. “Well, I figure I should probably practice with them more often. It might help with the migraines.”
Liam nodded in understanding, "Makes sense."
“But I should probably stop before I get a headache,” Kasey sighed as she put away the last few thing she was holding up.
"Probably a good idea. But there's painkillers in the top cupboard if you ever need them." Liam picked up a few stray photographs.
Kasey glanced over at the kitchen and nodded. “Okay. Thank you, babe. So… At least we’re almost done,” she mused softly.
"That's true. What do you wanna do once we're finished?" He asked, placing the photos on the counter.
“Hm… Maybe just snuggle and watch a movie?” Kasey suggested, shooting him a quick glance out of the corner of her eye.
