"What? Yeah why?" She had jumped slightly

"You look anxious," Nat answered. "Don't worry, it'll even out in a bit and you'll be fine."

She chuckles slightly but nods, "It's… not the ride. It's what's waiting in New York. "

Nat lowered her eyes. New York. As expected, Maria covered her mouth with her hand to keep in a small sob. Nat glance to the cockpit and unclicked her seatbelt so she could sit next to Eliza. "Please don't mention New York around my mom. Or the snap. Especially the snap. Please."

Eliza starts and starts to panic, "Oh God. Sorry. I didnt know. Yeah. Frick." She curses, leaning forward with her head in her hands

"No, it's…" Nat bit her lip. "Maria Hill and Natasha Romanov are both of my moms…" There it is. "It's actually very complicated, so…"

(This is the part I changed for her.)

(First time I read that I thought they where Lgbtq+ but then I read the history XD woops)

Eliza blinks, tilting her head, "As in… A couple? Or…" she was hesitant to ask but decided for it.

(No, you're right. They're lesbian. I didn't change the bio – I'm too lazy lol.)

Nat pressed her lips together and nodded.

Eliza opens her mouth as if to say something, closes it then mouthed a few times then nods too, "Awesome. " She smiles behind the mask then quickly says, 'Oh. I'm smiling by the way."

Nat breathed a sigh of relief. "You don't think that's weird?"

"Why would I?" She just shrugs, her eyes squinting up in a smile… thing…?

Nat blushed a bit. "I just… I never told anyone cause I was worried of what they would say…"

"Oh… well…" she looks down awkwardly

"Did I say something wrong?" she asked worriedly.

"Huh? Oh no no! Sorry." She chuckles, quickly looking up, "No It's just. I… didnt know what to say. Sorry." Another awkward silence.

Artemis ducked under one goon’s punch, and managed to block another’s attack with her staff, but when a foot hooked around her ankle and pulled, she hit the floor hard. Grabbing one of her necklaces, she cast a shield spell right before a fist hit her face. She rolled away and rose to her feet, taking down an intruder with a well placed blow to the knee. “I require a bit of assistance!” she called, poking another goon in the neck and whipping him across the face. She was doing almost okay when a heavy object struck the back of her head, and she fell forward, her vision going black at the edges.

Maria called back after a couple seconds. "Almost there."
Nat smiled gently at her mother. "Thanks, Mom."

Kiania used the handle of her knife, and with a well placed and surprisingly strong hit, had the man sprawled out on the ground. Artemis's shout drew her attention, and she didn't hesitate to activate her power, any thoughts of conserving it gone as she took on the negative form and released a blast of energy towards the other girl's attacker.

Eliza smiles slightly but it quickly falls at the prospect of a fight

Maria stopped the jet over the Sanctum. "Dropping you in since we clearly can't land…" she explained over her shoulder.
Nat looked at Eliza. "You ready in there?"

"Hardly." She smirks as she runs toward the door, "You need a lift down there, Nat?"

Nat strapped a parachute on. "I think I'm good," she retorted with a smirk.
"Natasha," Maria called from behind her.
Nat turned around.
"Stay safe."
"I will."

"I'll make sure she does." Eliza gives her a thumbs up before falling put of the jet. Webbing shoots from her wrist and she smashes through one of the windows

Nat leapt out, using the parachute at the right time to land on the roof. She heard the quinjet hover a second longer, then leave. Nat ditched the backpack and forced her way inside, staying secretive and inn the shadows for now.

"About time someone showed up." Kiania grit out, recognizing Eliza as she fired another thermal blast off. She was obviously protecting Artemis as the girl recovered, for once staying on the defensive.
