"I didn't mean it that way, I meant as in to the family. Well, that's what I like to call it anyway." Uriah shrugged. They could all find a place here if needed, or it could just be a place for them to feel safe. Esmea stopped dancing and was catching her breath. "See, easy right?" Wiping the sweat from his head the boy, who os known as Aaron, gave a thumbs up. "Y-Yeah sure." He laughed a little. Esmea threw her hands in the air in a fist, she was proud of herself for teaching someone. "But um could we have a few more lessons?" The smile on Esmea's face grew and she nodded. "Of course."
Katya rolled her eyes with her cross arms. Dancing did look like a lot of fun, but she could dance on her own.
"O-Oh well then yeah," Luna nodded with a smile, "Th-they'll fit right into the family."
"I'm Esmea by the way." She held out a hand for the boy to shake. "I'm Aaron." He smiled and took her hand. "You're my first friend… like ever." Esmea didn't know why, but she really liked this kid, there was just something about him. "Well, I should get party planning." Uriah said as he started to walk out.
Luna nodded as Uriah left, "O-okay. W-we'll see you later then."
"Does anyone else what to try?" Sheooked around the room at all the kids. Esmea was having fun and didn't want it to stop. A few kids raised their hands, at first it was slowly because they didn't know if they wanted to. But after a while of teaching a few kids. More and more raised their hands.
(I'm here, but idk what to do.)
(Same, but I also have an exam in an hour and I should probably do a few more practice problems instead of being here.)
(I'm not sure of what to do either, haha.)
(Maybe there's an attack on the guild or something?)
(I know there some sort of plot twist that's going to happen, I'm just not sure. Or maybe we can just skip to the dance?)
(I know the details of the twist. An attack would probably not be a good idea rn, but maybe skipping to the dance would be?)
(I'm just waiting for @CW_StarkSpangledBanner to see if it's cool that we skip.)
(Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Also, @CW_ShadeStar do you mind if I PM you about something in this RP? Not really a twist, just something I didn't necessarily want to reveal to everyone else yet.)
(Yeah you can. Go right on ahead.)
(So…. should we just skip to the party? @CW_StarkSpangledBanner doesn't seem to be on much right now.)
(I mean… If I remember right she put bec in charge while she disappeared…)
(Yeah, and that sounds like the way to go…)
(So, who wants to start?)
There were so. Many. People. Luna hadn't been expecting to see everyone out here, she was still glad she found a pale blue shawl that could cover her head and face. She found her hand up there trying to pull it further down. While the other smoothed out her darker blue dress that went down to the floor with longer sleeves that opened up wider at the end. She kept glancing around trying to find at least one familiar face amidst the crowd.
Uriah walked in. His dirty blonde hair neatly brushed out, unlike its usual messiness. His brown suit fit him perfectly. As he walked around everyone wished him a happy birthday. He wore a smile the whole time. It was exciting to have his real friends at his birthday party instead of fake ones. Esmea wore her tight red long dress with elegance. A long slit ran up the side. Her hair was down and strained which made it longer than it already was. She searched around for Aaron, the only kid who treated her normally. After the day she taught him to dance the two were always together. She told him everything and he still treated her normally.
Luna spotted Uriah, finally someone she knew. She slowly made her way to him sticking to the walls away from most people. This was so difficult to do.
Katya had a lilac dress on with white tights on underneath. She was glued to a wall near where the rest of the kids were standing there awkwardly, like the awkward child she was.
