(Hey Shade, how’s it going?)
(Hey Shade, how’s it going?)
(It's going good, how about you?)
(Meh, could be better but could be worse)
(Sounds about right.)
(Yup)
(Yup.)
(Anyone on?)
('Ello!)
(Sort of… I suddenly just got slammed with a ton of schoolwork though, so I've been stalking around the forums all day at most)
(Makes sense, also heh school.)
(Alright, I will just wait till you're not busy since Uriah is talking to Cyrus.)
"I understand completely. I'm getting older, I want to start my own family. And take care of them better than my dad did with me." Uriah was ready to move on with his life. Her wanted someone he could go home to at night. And someone he could love.
Cyrus laughed. "I think you'd make a good father. As for me…? I just want someone to rely on and someone to treat well in return. I think I already have something like that among friends, but… I don't know man. Something seems nice about having someone always at home waiting for you."
"You'll make a good father as well, you're so good with the kids. I think we both deserve to settle down and have a family we can take care of and love." Uriah patted Cyrus on the back. Just like how they are friends they're kids will be as well. Uriah turned around and saw Esmea talking to the other kids normally, and not only the kids that just showed up, but the ones who were already here.
Luna listened as they talked about settling down with families. She understood why they would want that, but she still wanted to explore and have adventures. Then again she was much younger than the other two. The kids seemed to get along, even the loner kid seemed to have conceded to doing whatever the others were.
"Good to see they're getting along well, huh? What did you say to Esmea? She seems to have opened up a bit," Cyrus said.
"Nothing really."Uriah turned to see her talking and laughing with a few of the guilds kids. "I think she just needed some time. Although she's still wary around adults." Then she grabbed a boys hands. A redhead boy with lots of freckles. He was a bit taller and was also nicely built. But with his dancing and red face you can tell he's a shy boy. They started to dance.
"Still a good sign," Cyrus said, sighing in relief, "I was almost certain this would end badly, but look at her… I wonder where she learned to dance like that."
"Me too." Unlike him, she was teaching the boy some very complex moves. "I don't think she needs to go that far to teach him, but I mean I'm not going to stop her." He took the tiniest step back. She was quite the cute girl when she smiled. "I think more people would approach her if she smiled instead of having that constant scowl on her face."
"Maybe," Cyrus said, "She seems to be a little more in her element, which is odd, because well… you know… assassins… They don't really appreciate the arts or ever teach that to the kids they take in."
"S-scowling is a lot easier then smiling sometimes," Luna made the offhand comment listening to them, "A-also isn't fighting sometimes described as a dance?"
"I have heard of dance fighting, but it was just from a movie so I'm not sure. She does move like an assassin still, maybe she's learned new ways to get people close and take them out." Although he was sure she wasn't doing that right now. He just thought maybe she's learned to dance because she's had to go undercover a lot.
"M-maybe," Luna shrugged, "I-I just remember reading a lot of books that described fighting like a dance. S-so that's where I drew my conclusions from."
"Interesting, I'd like to test her skills sometime. Only when we are on good terms with her first though." He walked over closer to Luna and stood next to her. "So what do you think about them, do you think that the will be a good addition to the guild?"
Luna looked at them before sighing, "I-I don't know. I-I don't like thinking of them like that, th-they're people too and can make their own decisions. B-but if they choose to join, then y-yeah. I-I think they'll be prefect additions."
"You're talking about the kids, right?" Cyrus asked, "I think they are. Not all of them are fighters, but even those who don't fight have their place in a working society."
