"You wanna keep dancing?" Cyrus asked, trying to sound as casual as possible.
His expression betrayed his nervousness about the situation. He bit at his lip just a little as he gazed back into Sparrow's eyes longingly.

His expression betrayed his nervousness about the situation. He bit at his lip just a little as he gazed back into Sparrow's eyes longingly.
Sparrow glanced at the couples in the floor "after you?" She smiled
"Yeah… uh… sure!" Cyrus managed.
He held out his hand to lead her further into the group of couples dancing, a broad smile on his face.
(Sorry I'm back. I started my own in home daycare, so I might be more busy from now on.)
Uriah smiled when he saw Sparrow and Cy dancing. Nudging Luna he pointed over to where they were. "Shall we grab a snack and watch how this unfolds?" He had been waiting for a while. It was like watching a show knowing two characters belonged together, and just waiting for them to finally be together.
(That's cool.)
Luna smiled and nodded noticing the pair. She knew that this had been a long time coming, and no one should intrude on their moment, "Th-that sounds like a great idea."
(That's cute!!)
Nathan watched all the people dancing and walked over to the DJ, watching how he moved the discs
Sparrow held his hand tightly and walked in with him.
Cyrus stopped where there was room for them to dance and turned to face Sparrow. He slowly moved one hand towards her waist, watching her expression carefully to make sure she wasn't uncomfortable with this.
(Idk anything about dancing, I've never slow danced)
Sparrow got I to position and peeked up at cyrus threw her lashes.
(I'm thinking of making a new Rp based off of this: https://pin.it/pi76vjxn5loq5r)
(Ooh yeah I saw that on tumblr one time. It looks pretty cool. And slow dancing isn't hard… typically the guy puts his hands on the girl's waist, and she puts hers on his shoulders, and they just kinda sway to the rhythm)
Cyrus was still filled with nervousness, but he was here now. He'd gotten this far, after all this time. He used his other hand to brush a strand of hair out of Sparrow's eyes so he could see her face better.
(I present to you my crappy interpretation of how to slow damce!!)
Sparrow ducked her head st his touch and leaned against him. Swaying slowly to the music, she tried to place why this song seemed familiar.
(It looks fine to me, but I relate…)
Cyrus held his breath, maybe a little bit to long. He let it out in a soft sigh. He tried to relax, but he was still stiff and uncertain. He hummed along very quietly to the music.
(Lmao)
Sparrow looked up at Cyrus "how are you such a good dancer? I'm practically tripping over my feet!" She mumbled
"Uriah taught me how," Cyrus admitted, "Besides, you're not bad at all. I'm having a good time."
She smiled at him "want to go out onto the balcony? Its is getting kind of hot and stuffy in here."
"Yeah, sure," Cyrus agreed, leading her outside. The music was still just audible from where they were now. He looked back towards Sparrow with a bright smile on his face. But then his smile fell just a bit. He wasn't sure if he'd just been dancing with a friend. Cyrus had no clue what Sparrow's intent was.
She laughed and leaned against the concrete railing, closing her eyes and feeling the cool breeze on her skin. This was the happiest she had been in a while, especially not after she learned about her family.
Cyrus leaned down on the railing beside her.
"You look content," he said, "It'd be the first time in a while."
"Yeah, so much happened when I went with uriah, things even he doesnt know about but I guess I am content right now." She said smiling, her eyes still closed. They could hear the laughter and music in the background
"And that's what matters," Cyrus sighed, "I like seeing you happy, you know? You get this sparkle in your eye…"
He stopped and took another deep breath.
She opened her eyes and looked at Cyrus with a piercing gaze "I really did miss you the whole time I was gone." She said quoetly
Cyrus nodded. "I missed you too. More than I think I've missed anyone. Having someone gone for a year is a lot different than having someone die. Someone dies… you know they're done suffering. You know nothing else bad could happen to them. You know what happened to them. But when you were gone, it was different. It's like you could've been here, but you weren't, and honestly I was scared of what might happen to you and Uriah. But it didn't. You came back fine, and I'm grateful. I'm so happy to be here with you now. You have no idea…"
Sparrow looked away, hesitant to say anything more, not wanting to say the wrong thing and risk ruining their relationship. It wasnt what she wanted it to be but as an assassin, you learned to be grateful for what you have, not what you want.
Looking at the crescent moon she smiled faintly "I remember the time when we were in that tree togather, before I left. Do you remember" she asked. She was referring to the time when she had told him she liked him but hearing a negative from him, she gave up and ran away from her problems.
(That pin looked interesting… I'd rp that…)
"I didn't… I didn't want to drag you into my problems, you know," Cyrus said, "I always thought you deserved someone who could treat you better than I could. But as I've thought about it more, I know I was wrong. I blew my chance. I'm sorry for any hard feelings."
(Its called Lunar Signs Academy if you want in)
She just listened for a while before speaking up "I've never wanted anything more or less than someone respecting me but also acknowledging me. You've always done that so I guess that's why I keep drifting back towards you."
