"I've never danced with someone inexperienced. It's a lot of fun." He stopped and took a deep breath. "Man, actually Cy and Sparrow have the right idea, it is quite hot in here." With everyone here and so many bodies it made the room more than hot.

Luna nodded, it didn't help her that it felt like all eyes there were on the pair. She looked around, "M-maybe we should go somewhere with less people? I-If you want t-to of course."

(What kind of cliche?)(casually makes conversation because idk how to reply lol)

(Uhhhh idk surprise me I guess?)

"Where would you like to go, m'lady?" Uriah looked around, he would go to the balcony since it has a nice view, but he didn't want to get in the way of Cyrus and Sparrow.

(Oh my god I feel like Nathan would do it, but he’s so smol that no one can be mad)

"Well, I know I can't fix anything, but I'm absolutely here for you," Cyrus said, very softly, "I'm sure all the trauma, all the death and killing made things worse… brought out things that otherwise never would have come to light… It's awful, really. But what can we do about it now besides support each other?"
He looked at his feet. "Well, on a slightly lighter note, I never thought I'd get to say these words to your face, but I love you."

Sparrow was speechless "I- you-" she stuttered. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she looked at Cyrus, gazing deep into his eyes "Cyrus I–" she started but was cut of when a tiny body slammed into her "Cyrus! Bird lady! We have a problem!" Nathan said, panicked. Hearing his tone of voice, sparrow immediately stood straight "what happened?" She asked. Nathan grabbed her arm and started pulling her back inside "they dont have any chicken nuggets!" He told her and pulled her. Sparrow stopped and looked at him "sorry- What?" Nathan repeated his statement and, after struggling a bit, pulled her inside. "Sorry Cy!" She yelled

"The hell..?" Cyrus murmured.
He didn't hear the part about chicken nuggets. Just that there was a problem, and now he was worried. He ran back inside after Sparrow and Nathan.

"Look!" Nathan said pointing to the table, which was indeed missing chicken nuggets. Sparrow sighed exasperated "nathan, why exactly is this such a problem?" She asked, crouching down to his level

Nathan looked up with sad eyes "because I'm hungry." He wanted to eat but the mean old man by the tables said he couldnt take any cookies and none of the other food looked nice.

Cyrus finally did hear what was going on, and he chuckled quietly to himself before approaching.
"Well.. do you like sandwiches at least? I'm sure we could get someone to make one for you."
(I gtg… I'll be back in about 2 hours, at least for a bit.)

(Same, school sucks)

Nathan looked at Cyrus with bright eyes "I like sandwiches! Can we give some to Vida and Kai?"

Esmea practically dance with everyone in the room and was now getting bored. She decided to go to the food table and saw Sparrow, Cy and Nathan standing there. She knew they all hated her, like most people here did, so she turned around and snuck out of the room.

"Where would you like to go, m'lady?" Uriah looked around, he would go to the balcony since it has a nice view, but he didn't want to get in the way of Cyrus and Sparrow.

Luna looked around and spotted Cyrus and Sparrow back inside of the room. She looked back towards the balcony, "W-we could go to balcony?"

“Yeah, I’ll go talk to one of the chefs and get you guys something… We didn’t exactly think to get food that wasn’t quite as fancy,” Cyrus replied, “We can uh… get back to our talk in a minute, yeah Sparrow?”

"Alright." He headed that way. The cool breeze felt nice against his hot skin. The view over the forest was beautiful. Uriah always loved the outdoors. "Do you think you'll ever leave this place?"

Luna lifted the hood of her shawl off her head as the breeze started to pull it back. She felt the wind flow through her hair as she looked out over the forest. The view here was breathtaking, "I-I don't know. I-I've never really known anything or anyone else, s-so probably not."

"Of course." She smiled watching nathan lead him off.

(Hey, hey fam, what if sparrow and cyrus interrupt Luna and Uroah?)

After a few minutes, Cyrus had got Nathan and the other kids sandwiches, and he came back to see Sparrow where he had left her.
"So…?" he said softly, "What now?"

Sparrow looked at him and said "what now is indeed the question. We could go out but will it work? We wont be better off as friends because all this happened. I dont understand what to do." She rambled on and on.

"Sparrow…" Cyrus sighed, clapping a hand over her shoulder, "We don't have to know right now. It's okay. If you want to talk about it more, we can find somewhere private. If not, we can keep dancing and hanging out. Your call."
