Katya nodded and looked at the door with a sigh, "Probably with the other adults."
Katya nodded and looked at the door with a sigh, "Probably with the other adults."
"He… he's like my brother…" Vida whispered into her blanket. She wiped away some of the tears.
"Oh," Katya said softly, "Well, then he won't go out."
Vida shook her head. "If they're really anything alike… of course he'll go out…"
She usually would have cried more, but she had basically just cried herself dry.
Katya laughed slightly, "Of course. We can stop him. I know it!"
"And how's that?" Vida asked, crossing her arms in front of her.
"I don't know, Injure him so he can't leave?" Katya suggested.
(YOU READ MY MIND! HOW?!)
Vida's eyes got huge. "You don't mean that…? What could we do? We're just kids."
(I DON'T KNOW! IT SEEMED KATYA-ISH!)
"We could stab his knees?" Katya said in the same tone, "We're kids, not defenseless."
(Okay, excuse me while I die laughing)
"NO!" Vida squealed, "That's too far! We should make him only feel pain… We don't want him hurt forever!"
"Okay," Katya paused for a second to think, "Then we'll slash his calves!"
"But… there are muscles in there!" Vida cried out, "You can't cut that! How about we um… we break his hand…? That hurts, right? But he'll get better."
"Yeah… Or we could break his leg!" Katya seemed dead set on his legs.
Vida frowned. "Maybe… but how?"
She pushed some of her blonde hair away from her eyes, looking closely at Katya.
Katya looked up for a second before looking back at Vida, "Maybe we could hit him really hard with a stick or something?"
"Where do we get a stick?" Vida asked. She had a bad feeling about this. "And he's big! Do you think we could actually hit him that hard? And wouldn't we get in trouble?"
"Ummmm, I have no idea," Katya said looking down, "Maybe if the stick is really hard we could at least bruise him."
"A bruise won't keep him from leaving," Vida said, "Maybe we're better off staging an accident!"
"Yeah!" Katya said liking this new idea, "What type of accident?"
"Hm… I don't know… Maybe make him fall down the stairs?" Vida suggested.
"This could work!" Katya said with a slight smile.
(What is everyone else going to think when they come back to see this?)
Vida nodded, but she didn't smile. She hated hurting people. But she figured a broken bone or two was far better than getting stuck full of arrows.
"We trip him?" she asked.
(I have no idea XD)
"That is probably the easiest way to do it," Katya wiped the smile from her face. She shouldn't be smiling about this, they were going to hurt a person.
"O-okay… if you really think this will stop him," Vida murmured, "I don't like this…"
"Neither do I," Katya said quietly, "But it's to protect him."
