(Daaaaaaaammnnn)
"Did I ever say I did?" Eira's face was still blank and unfazed by what she said but inside she was screaming, "I was trying to be nice but clearly if you don't want a friend or someone to talk to then I'll leave you be. You seem fine on your own so why should someone like me care?" She stood.
(Yeah she's a bit messed up in the head. But I swear her character will develop, she won't be like this the whole time.)
"I don't need anyone." Esmea started to climb down the building. She needed to release some stress and her way of releasing that stress is to cause some chaos. "Let's burn something." She grinned as she walked into the forest. Her little ferret followed behind her. "I'm pretty sure there were some matches in that car."
(Ooft, cools)
Eira watched her ago, shaking her head slightly. She didn't know why, but she wanted to make friends with the girl, so she wouldn't give up yet.
Esmea was more careful this time to not cut herself on the broken glass. She didn't need those useless adults to make a fuss again, and the more healed she gets the faster she can get out of this place. The sound of grass made her move a little faster into the car. Damn guard. After he walked away she shuffled into the spot where she got crushed. Lifting the compartment near where you put your drinks she saw the matches. "Now, what should I light on fire?" Honestly she wanted to burn down that guild, but then another whole guild will be after her, and she didn't want to deal with that. "The forest maybe?"
Luna had walked out to the forest, and once she saw Esmea had been tracking her since. The moment she said fire and forest Luna walked out from her hiding spot and looked down at the girl one hand on a knife, "D-Don't. P-Put the matches down and walk back inside."
Esmea turned slowly and looked Luna dead in the eye. "Nah, don't feel like it." She lot one and just held in in between her fingers and watched it burn out. "Well, it's no fun when someone is here." She threw the matches down. "None of you are any fun." Esmea tossed her hair back and headed back to the guild. Now she would have to deal with knives and dummies.
Luna let out a soft sigh as she walked over and picked up the matches. That child would be the death of her. She pocketed the matches and followed Esmea back to the guild silently. Like she was going to let that girl wander around the guild by herself unsupervised.
Esmea had no idea where the training room was so she just ended up walking around the building taking in mental notes of where everything was. "You don't have to follow me." Esmea said as she continued walking. She hated being followed and watched over, that's why she left the guild. "Its really annoying studder girl."
Luna frowned and stepped out from the shadows. She pulled at her hood, "I-I have a name you know. A-also I don't trust you yet Esmea, s-so I'm not letting you out of my sight."
Esmea stopped and looked at Luna, "Trust, what a silly word." And after saying that she continued walking. It didn't matter to her if they trusted her or not. "Oh right, I should tell you, keep a good eye on Cyrus." From the vent earlier she heard two of the girls talking about hurting him somehow, and maybe, just maybe that will get some of the attention off of her and onto the other kids. They also weren't as innocent as they seemed.
Luna frown grew. Keep an eye on Cyrus? He was more than capable of handling himself… Did Esmea just threaten Cyrus? That's what it sounded like, she shook her head and went to see if she could talk to someone about this. If it was what she thought it was then this was bad, and they needed to either lock Esmea up or get her out.
(Haha, it did sound like that huh?)
Finally, Esmea thought, she was alone at last. Now with no one around she could do whatever she wanted. And her stomach wanted food so she decided the cafeteria would be nice. Following a few people she finally food and just got a tray and sat down to eat.
(Yes it did. Lol. Now to wait for someone else to be on that I can run into… Hhhhhhh)
(I'm here now)
Cyrus clicked his pen a few times, struggling to think any longer. He tossed it aside and threw the notebook he'd been writing in back into his bedroom, not caring where it landed.
He started doing rounds of the building, just to clear his mind a bit. Then again, he should probably turn to his friends for advice and ideas before getting frustrated at himself for not being perfect.
Luna saw Cyrus making rounds and quickly walked up to him. Her face was painted with urgency, "C-Cyrus we need to talk. N-now."
"What's wrong?" Cyrus asked, his green eyes widening, "Do we have bad news? Evidence that Black Claw may have found us?"
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I-I think Esmea's planning something," Luna responded. She was a bit wide eyed, "Sh-she said something about k-keeping an eye on you. Th-then she left. I-I don't think that's a good thing."
"As in she threatened me, personally?" Cyrus asked, "Listen, I believe she said that, but that's rich… If she thinks she's going to get away with any stunts like that…"
Cyrus' heart started beating a little faster. That's right. He was a leader now. Never had he considered this might make him the target of possible assassination attempts, if that's what this was.
"I-I know," Luna sighed looking down as she began to fiddle with her hood. Cyrus was like a brother to her, "J-just please be careful. D-don't go anywhere that could provide her an opportunity."
"She makes a move against me, or any of you, and I kill her where she stands," Cyrus promised.
He wasn't usually one for death threats, but he felt like it was appropriate, just this once.
"I don't care if she is a kid. They broke her into being a ruthless killing machine, and if she can't keep her urges in check, I don't want her endangering our cause or friends."
"Esmea threatened you Cy?" Uriah woke up in a panic realizing Esmea wasn't in her room. "Have either of you seen her? She just disappeared." He had searched everywhere, or at least almost everywhere.
"Well… I'm not sure. Luna says it sounded like a threat. I haven't seen Esmea since earlier, though," Cyrus said.
He was shockingly calm from the outside, but was truthfully starting to feel a little panicky again.
"For now, I won't worry about it too much. I'll just keep myself armed and pay attention to my surroundings."
Esmea stood from the table and put the tray away. She walked down the halls and through the door window say the other kids, most of them asleep. All she could think about was how emotionally weak they are and that they shouldn't be assassin's. They weren't strong enough.
Luna looked around. She hadn't kept track of where the girl had gone, "I-I don't know where she is now. B-but she did try to set fire to the forest too. I-I really don't think keeping her here is a good idea. E-even if she really needs our help."
"Well, I don't think we can let her go, either," Cyrus said, "What if she is some sort of spy? What if she goes back to Black Claw and tells them where we are?"
